I spent that day knocking off big scary quest monsters on the Chinese gaem.

My mom and dad went and played golf on Mother's Day. Seems there were quite a few tee times available, so they took advantage of that.

On a fun note, I joined the Women's Auxiliary last night and got voted onto the board as Jr. Vice President. Guess that makes me quite the joiner.

The "glass ceiling" is an expression for the limits on a woman's success. So, by making it to a leadership position, Andais has broken the glass ceiling.

i may have to go fry up the leftover mashed potatoes into a potato pancake of some kind...

MUMSY NEEDS TO MAKE MASHED POTATOES AGAIN. I have been deprived of them for so long. Hm, what if I asked her to show me how to make them?

ummm well.. you start by peeling the potatoes. unless you like skin in your mashed potatoes.
Than you cube them up . I only suggest that because it will cook much MUCH faster if you chop them first and don't just stick them in the water to boil for an hour to soften.

When they're soft you take them off the stove. Drain the water out. (oh i probably should have said the water. i just idk.. thought it was self explanitory but if i'm going step by step i should have said every step)

than if you have a potato masher just mash them. Otherwise you kind of just attack the soft potatoes in a bowl with a fork and knive squishiny it into mashededness goodlyness.

Than if you're me you add garlic, pepper, maybe a touch of salt or onion salt. sour cream and chedder cheese. and butter.. and sometimes a couple drops of milk to give it a creamy smooth delicious texture.
