My mom is scared of cats. :(
I don't know why, she's always had a phobia of them.

My mom used to be afraid of dogs because one attacked her when she was little, but now she doesn't mind dogs so much. She prefers little dogs.

Funny enough, Ava, I find the little yappers to be the ones that bite more.

I have noticed that too, Queen.
Thankfully none of the dogs that I've encountered have bitten me. Most of them are too lazy and old to do anything. (Even to bark!)

Pit bulls, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Great Danes, I love these breeds... Labs are fun as well because they love the water and chasing a ball. Our old dog was a White German Shepherd and he had the best personality ever.

I'm afraid of all animals, even cats. I'm especially afraid of bugs and dogs.

I am not afraid of some animals.
I love bunnies, cats, dogs... Cute snuggly things are great!
I even don't mind snakes, turtles, rats and bats.

But spiders, bugs, scary looking things that are not cute...
I just can't get behind those, sorry.

In no way, shape, or form are bugs cute.

Amane, I am so going to take pictures of the Lady Bugs up at the cabin just for you. They are literally thousands of them up there.

Lady bugs aren't so bad,
I still hate them and will scream if one starts flying...
But they aren't so bad.

Please don't show me. Bug pictures make me paranoid.

They can't get you through the computer.

Spiders don't bother me as long as they maintain a safe distance, usually three feet or more from me. Now the deadly ones, well, I don't mind them if there is glass between us and they are in a habitat they can get out of.

Now the scorpions that reside in this desert landscape... they deserve to die and burn in hell. They are one of the few creepy crawlies that get an automatic death sentence, no possibility of parole.

That doesn't matter. It's a phobia. I get paranoid I'll see one for real.

Spiders and scorpions are separate from other "bugs" in science. They're such awful demons they have their own class.

I think fear is learned. But I just wonder how one can unlearn a fear.

According to psychology, fear is a conditioned response. You can unlearn fear and in fact learn to love what you once feared. You can relearn fear, too, of course.

I want to unlearn my fear of spiders.
I can't imagine having children and if there's a spider in my baby's room, well... I can't just let the spider have my CHILD. D:
