The husband and I need to get out and spend time with each other somewhere other than home and our usual stomping grounds. We haven't explored much of the state and this gives us the excuse. Celebrating ten years for being together as a couple... since started dating that is, only seven years of marriage.
Now I am thinking perhaps Laughlin would be a fun spot to hit. Need to ask the husband what he wants to do. Hell, we might just stay here in a hotel somewhere. Cause let's face it, hotel sex is fun and awesome!

Thanks, Ava. It was seven years in June! Strange how time flies with certain things and crawls with others.
My mom called today and it looks like DCS (Department of Child Services) is moving towards reunification with my sister and nephew, which is a good thing. Always held out hope that she would get him back. There is a court hearing in a few weeks, status check I believe, but my parents should be finding out a time frame for when they intend on giving custody back to Amanda. Got our fingers crossed that DCS requires Amanda to allow my parents visitation with their grandson since they have been his caregivers for months now.
