We could Ava. But my mom let him get a little matted on his back legs and I can't actually get the mats to come out so he's probably going to get a puppy cut, which is just a close cut all over. Then his fur can grow back in healthier.

Queen:: Bf is so nervous around guests anyway. He's a very solitary creature. My mom and brother stayed 2 days and he did better than I thought, but I told him my sister might come to see us with her latest boyfriend before the year is out and he looked like I'd just smacked him. To be fair though, my sister has questionable taste in men and I've already told her she can't stay at our house.

Kit, I would not intrude on your fortress of solitude, thereby causing your bf anxiety. We could totally meet at a neutral third location and he doesn't have to come if he isn't feeling up to it. We're pretty laid back people and we love to laugh. Now I will say that I am the more outgoing person in the relationship. The husband isn't as socially out there like me.

Funny how you never notice that until someone points it out. He's always been the quiet wallflower and I just drag his ass out and about with me.

The problem is I have extreme anxiety and I don't really go anywhere without him And also I can't drive and am too scared to do public transit. I'm a mess.

Well, crap. We could hangout in your front yard! No need for you to travel anywhere and we won't be inside invading the private space. Easy easy. We could have a picnic!!! Possibly with Mr. Mayor's heart, like my avatar is so wonderfully enjoying at the moment.

It would be super fun to have like...a mene con. I'd do fine there. Weirdly I do great in large gatherings but gimme just a few people and my anxiety goes absolutely nuts.

That's the opposite of me...
I do fine in small groups, large gatherings make me anxious.

But then, it really depends.
I get anxious at large conventions, but when I am cosplaying, it makes it so much easier to be more social. I love taking pictures with people and talking to them about cosplay.

That is kind of weird, Kit. Most people it's the opposite for sure. Although, I know a few people that are the same as you.

Ava, that could be because you are dressed as someone else and not entirely yourself, makes it easier to be personable with others.

I might be back in Missouri in November. It depends on how all this with my nana goes down. I hope I get to see her again... of course, I always will, and there will be a time when I won't.

I know its weird but like parties, and stuff with like 10 or 15 plus people I do fine. I'm a social fucking butterfly. Give me a situation with like 4 people and I'm freaking out. I think its like...if there are more people, I feel like there's less chance of someone zeroing in on me. I hate attention IRL unless its from like people I love like my mom or my fiance and then I'm addicted to attention. But other than that, I don't want people to notice I'm here. Apparently its a PTSD thing.

I prefer a large crowd over just a few people...
A large crowd allows me to be somewhat anonymous. A small gathering means that someone will probably talk to me and expect me to talk back! Lol!

I really can only handle small groups. lol 1-5 people. but its really like, one to two people unless we're playing a board game or DnD or something like that. If we're busy its better than if its just plain socializing--that makes me super anxious!

Yeah, that's probably it.

When I went to a convention for the first time, I wasn't wearing a costume, so I felt really exposed and I wanted to leave after I bought some comics I wanted.

The first time I went to a con, I joked that I was cosplaying a watermelon because I had a pink-red shirt on and a green jacket, and anyway, this tiny little woman came up to me to tell me my boyfriend was hot and my boobs were amazing and then I never saw her again. o_o

When I was younger I went with my parents to the Renaissance Festival and one lady there saw that my dad brought a camera and she was like, "TAKE A PICTURE OF THESE!" and she started to flash us, then my mom was like, "No." And she walked away really, really disappointed.

I mean, I get it's a fun event, we're all having a good time...
But you don't approach someone with your boobs and expect everything to be okay?
