They definitely don’t understand why we keep saying happy birthday to them but they do seem to enjoy the attention and it makes them laugh.
I love their laughter.

Kids laughter is so amazing.

I like children's laughter too.

That's why I enjoy tickling little children because they make me laugh.
And I like squeezing their big, fat cheeks and making silly noises because it makes me laugh too.

My kids’ laughter helps me on the days that I’m really struggling.

I'm not a fan of tantrums either.
Once, I was at the movie theatre and a boy (about 10 years old) was impatient and wanted to budge in front of everyone so he kicked his mom...

I hate it when I see kids abusing their parents, but then, I hate it even more when some parents literally allow their children to abuse them

My kids know that if tantrums happen in public - we leave wherever we are immediately.
Well my older two know that. The munchkins don’t quite get that yet. But they’re only one.

I can’t stand parents who let their kids throw tantrums out in public and do nothing to reprimand them.

If my kids started acting out in public, they were invited to visit the restroom with me...which they quickly refused and straightened up their behavior. ...because visiting the restroom meant that they would recieve a spanking...although they never did recieve a spanking in a public restroom!...just the threat would make them think twice about how they were behaving.

Mommy did her spankings in the car.

I guess my husband and I just have a different parenting style - my children will never be spanked, ever.

My parents are totalitarian. OH SNAP IT'S THE MOON SHINING IN MY PERIPHERAL VISION WHOOOOA IT'S SO PRETTY. I wish I could've seen the super blue blood moon eclipse.

It was too cloudy for us to see the supermoon. :c

Speaking of tantrums, the upstairs neighbors have lost their minds tonight. It sounded like a tantrum with the way they were running back and forth non-stop. My bf went outside and heard some shit that scared us. If it happens again the apartment complex toldus to call the cops type deal..

Adult tantrums are a healthy necessity as long as nobody gets hurt.

I want to sometimes, but I just don't have it in me to wear my emotions on my sleeves... If I get mad, I hold it all in.

My boyfriend thinks he heard, "I'm going to kill you!" which could be an empty threat, but if we see the police tomorrow at their apartment they're probably going to question us as witnesses. :( Not excited for that....

For me, if I'm mad I rant it out online. ^^;; Its just easier to filter myself and also address what is bothering me in a productive manner. Trying to do that IRL with words is hard because I have a very shrill voice when I'm upset or anxious or even mad.
Though I'm told me being mad is very scary even if I don't say mean things, so I try not to let it out IRL.
