In truth, I can usually get away with not touching the onion at all when I take it out. I don't want to touch it. It's hot and super greasy. x:

It tastes so bad when I accidentally eat a piece of onion that stuck to the skin of the ring.

I like a nice slice of raw onion on a burger...and I like chopped onions on a taco or burrito.
When I was a kid my grandfather kept a huge garden that included green onions...I would go and pull an onion and wash it with the hose and eat it fresh from the dirt.
I also ate carrots that way.
And I would eat small cucumbers with the skins still on them.
Oh...and tomatoes fresh from the vine! Mmmm!
