The teacher was an RN that had been teaching for a few years and RN for quite sometime and in my mind I was picturing my future and having to deal with a bunch of ass hats like her and it turned me off from the profession.
Holy guacamole, still got a headache and it's not very pleasant. Not that headaches are all that pleasant to begin with and this one is really doing me in. Wondering if I should go to the Urgent care and have them give me some narcotics to knock it out. Percocet, here I come.

Yeah, that was a reason I reconsidered being a teacher. Buncha jerks.
Have you been drinking a lot of water? It won't fix it, but it might help.

Been drinking the water, wondering if because I haven't had a lot of caffeine that could be my other issue.
Being an RN would be awesome, at least I think so. Should think about going back to school. I'll wait though until the husband gets a job. Which I hope is soon. Although, now he has his DD-214, he can sign up for the GI Bill and get back to school himself.

...I don't know what an RN is. Is that a Resident Nurse?

Registered Nurse, they make good money and do the bulk of work around patients, administering medications that doctors order, change dressings on wounds, lots of one on one with patients.

Elirona, I should know better than to abbreviate, most people don't know what RN stands for, they generally just know it's a nurse.
Livi, we totally understand your absence, baking two children is not easy. You are just in time for the next event that starts on Friday. Yippee.
Are we about to lose Amane to the music realm?

Eh I doubt I'll be here for the event. Events on here no longer really hold my attention much. I'm not a fan of them.
Life keeps letting me know not to get too attached to finding time to myself. Plus I'm dealing with a lot on the front of both my parents' health.

Livi, is it that the events are pretty much the same thing repeated with little difference between them except theme?
Salvete, very true. It's all how you deal with the stress so that you don't burn out.

Yep.. Nothing new. All the forum games are all generally the same. Always items that I usually don't like and won't ever use. Nothing new -- always way too same. So repetitive. And for the most part I always get ignored whenever I go into threads so they are no longer worth my time and energy. So whenever an event is announced - I run the other way.. I absolutely can not stand them. At all.

Livi, that sounds awful! Why would people ignore you? I host a giveaway thread during the events and I do my damnedest to not ignore people that come in because I remember people ignoring me in threads. Not a pleasant feeling.
It has been said that because of limited staffing and no full time coder doing more than they are now for events is really possible. Sucks.
If you get the chance during the event, come into the giveaway. Constantly thinking up new games to play and ways to hand out items in my inventory.

I don't think I will make an appearance due to past experiences with events. Plus once you've experienced one, you've experienced them all. Not worth wasting my minimal energy I have these days on.

All right. Do you want me to snag you a set of the EIs? If you don't like them you don't have to keep them, I can use them for future events.

I figured RN stood for Resident Nurse because my boyfriend's uncle has a live-in nurse...
I always like coming back for Mene's events. I still wish they'd bring back the chicken hunt game because that game was the fucking bomb. And maybe this time I'll run a raffle thread instead of just saying I will and then not doing it!

I only got a single set of last event's EIs, which is sad b/c I usually manage to get 3-5. I just wasn't up to it, I suppose. :V

You can be a live-in nurse and be something other than an RN. There are Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Medical Assistants and Nursing Assistants. Nursing has it's own hierarchy, with the top tier being Nurse Practitioner, whom is over seen by an Doctor. Minute Clinics for example are staffed with a Nurse Practitioner generally and their cases and notes are review once a week or monthly by a doctor on retainer, or company sponsored doctor. Not entirely sure how they do that, just know they are reviewed by a doctor.

Sounds like a plan.
Has the nausea gotten any better for you? Judging by your timeline you've moved out of the first trimester into the second one and I hear the nausea goes away or at least dials down to a manageable level in the second trimester.

Elirona, that's how it works sometimes, events either catch your fancy or they don't. Had many a thread that suffered because I couldn't find it in me to post and hang around.

Hooray for feeling a bit better. I'm sure your girls are happy to see you feeling better as well.
We skipped the gym this morning, which means we are going tonight after work. Wondering if I can leave a little early today and we can avoid the crush of people going after work. Need to stick to going in the morning, wakes me up, gets my morning going better and I have more energy. Just hate waking up.
Not sure what to have for lunch. Want something light...I believe there is still salad in the fridge...yum!

Ah, okay, queenie. That's...a lot about Nursing. :o I don't know what a Minute Clinic is...
It's not like I don't even like the event themes, I just like, don't have the motivation to really stick around and post. It doesn't help that a lot of threads move REALLY fast.

Minute Clinic is put on by CVS, they have doctor's office type thing in some of them now. Even Walgreens has jumped on board is doing something similar.
Won't like to you there, some threads just speed by. The best way to talk in those is to zero in on one or two people and chat with them. Helps to keep things in perspective for you. At least that's how I post in those threads.

Ohh, so you mean like, when they have the consultation windows in the pharmacy section at CVS?
That's what I used to do, but now it's a bit tougher at my old old age of 21.
