It's a musical about the founding of America (right, guys?). It's super popular right now. I don't know the details of the story, but the music's great. Pretty sure it's mostly rap. Someone who's seen it or at least attempted to would be more certain of the details if you're that interested.
It's a musical about the youngest founding father Alexander Hamilton. It's rap and hip hop mostly. It's simply amazing. I am not usually a fan of these genre either Poet but the soundtrack is all I've been listening to recently. This is the performance they did at the Tony's. They didn't use the guns during this performance because it was only a few days of the Pulse shooting in Orlando.

Ehh.... it sounds like Opera @[email protected] I can't listen to that I'm sorry... My sister was an Opera fanatic and played that (phantom of the Opera specifically) on repeat as a kid... can't bear the sound anymore.
The Wandering Poet, a lot of Hamilton does not sound like opera at all since they incorporated so much rap in it. If you want a sampling of purely rap, here is Lin-Manuel Miranda performing a little something for President and FLOTUS Obama. The actual performance starts a little after one minute into this video
