I like your opinions, Ava the Vampire! :D feel free to share them whenever you want <3
I agree that food is half the battle. Portion sizes are bigger than they used to be. And a lot of children, especially here in the U.S., seem to have that stereotype of not eating or liking vegetables for some reason. I have always liked my vegetables, but then again I am probably one of the least picky eaters ever, haha.
I remember reading about a study they did somewhere with kids and Wheat Thins. They split the kids into three groups to tell them almost the same exact story except for one small detail. Then, they gave them a plate of Wheat Thins.
One group was told something like "Sally came home from school. She ate Wheat Thins because they are healthy."
The second group was told "Sally came home from school. She ate Wheat Thins because they are delicious."
The third group was told "Sally came home from school. She ate Wheat Thins."
and they found out that the third group ate the most Wheat Thins after the story! So basically, if you just treat eating Wheat Thins as a normal thing, without trying to justify it, the kids will eat more of it.
At least, that was their conclusion.
and I laughed out loud at the awesome and very fitting gif you shared!!!
