Most of the buildings in the Carolina Ren Fest are permanent as well but they need to make it bigger (despite growing last year) cause it's too small and crowded.

well my wedding was pretty cheap. i think we spent maybe 1000. which is like.. the cost of a computer. xD

we only had about 100 quests and they were all family members. so i want to do one where its friends that can come out and hang with us. and i can stuff them full of food. and we can nerd it up . and just to keep the love between hubby and i fresh <3 so we always remember why we're married.

Oh ours was permanent.
The guy who owns the quarry that it is built on told them they had to move after this year.

He's kind of an asshole and doesn't see the fun in the RenFest.

Renfest is awesome but you will see people in costumes they should not be wearing. Such as the 5X woman I saw in a brown barbarian two piece semi Xena outfit. With a skirt it would have been fine but no one should wear that little unless going to the beach.

There are some things that people do at the festival that make me wonder how or why they are subjecting the rest of us to it. I did buy a new bodice this year, very pretty.

Thinking I might be winding down. Got thirteen pings to handle and buying some of the EIs...although that can wait.

I have to find my corset cord... :[ Poor bittybytes got hit with a sudden stomach bug around christmas/new years and we had no idea it was coming and she got my corset. i took the cord ouot to wash it. and poof. its gone. can't find it. not a clue where it went. :/

I found some new skirts. I got a blue one at Hamricks, a red one at goodwill and a new black one at the salvation army. I need a new corset though. The one I have is red and black and does't work with some of the skirts I would like to wear.

If you go back to the RenFaire, they have replacement cords.
