Cal crinkled his nose. "You're right, you do smell like horse. I insist you take the first bath."

Alex shrugged. "if your sure." he headed off and went to take his bath making sure to put his cloths in the washing pile when he passed it. "All set." he glanced at his bother as he headed upstairs to bed.

Cal hung out at the table, waiting for his turn to bathe. Once Alex came in and headed upstairs, Cal headed outside, making sure to add his own clothes to the washing pile as well. He bathed quickly and then went back inside, ready for bed.

Lori went to bath managing to start the fire back up and soaked for a while. She headed upstairs and sighed softly curling into a ball and quickly fell asleep.

Rosemary bathed after her sister, then quickly made her way up to bed, falling asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Lori woke the next morning and rose stretching. She sighed and took there clean cloths planning on taking there money to the tailor later that day to get them both more cloths. "Sister its time to get up again."

Alex rose with a groan and got dressed surprising more awake then normal.

Rosemary mumbled something about purple flowers, then opened her eyes, blinked and sat up. "Morning already? The nights pass so quickly when you're sleeping well." She got up and stretched, smiling at her sister.

Cal was surprised to se his brother awake before him. It was a rare thing for Alex to wake up on his own at all, let alone so early. "You're up early, brother. Has hell frozen over?" He teased as he got dressed.

"Purple flowers?" Lori smirked as she did up her hair again. "I'll need to get to get us more cloths from the tailor any special requests?"

"Very funny." Alex glared at him. "I think its because I worked so hard." he shrugged.

Rosemary blinked. "I think I was dreaming about a flower field. I can't really remember." She got herself dressed. "Actually, if you could get me a pair of trousers and maybe a simple work skirt, that would be perfect. I'll give you the money to pay for mine."

Cal chuckled. "I don't think it works that way, Alex. Working hard makes you sleep more, not less." He pulled his boots on and got ready to go. "Breakfast before we head off to work?"

"Sounds good to me." Lori smiled back at her sister. "I'll have to hurry if I'm going to get to work on time." she took her purse. "Pay me later." she hurried off to the tailors.

Alex nodded. "Breakfast sounds great." he lead the way feeling energized. He found a seat just as the older princess dashed off. "She's in a hurry."

"Alright. Have a good day at work!" Rosemary called after Lori as she hurried out. Moments later, Rosemary herself headed downstairs to start work.

Cal sat down across from him. "She's probably late for work. From what I've heard, her boss can be really strict." He said.

"I'm sure she can handle it." Alex shrugged then saw the younger of the girls. "OK here we go." he took a breath and smiled at her.

Cal chuckled. "I'll go. She's more likely to open up without me here." He was late for a job, anyway. He clapped a hand on Alex's shoulder and headed off.

Rosemary got to the bottom of the stairs and was tying her apron on when she spotted Alex smiling at her. She smiled back hesitantly and went about taking orders.

Alex frowned a little surprised at happy he was to see her smile back at him. He shrugged and ate his breakfast in silence trying to figure out what to say to the girl.

Eventually, as it was unavoidable, Rosemary came around to his table. She had put it off as long as she could, but it was her job. "Good morning." She said politely. "Anything I can get for you?"

"No I'm all set." Alex shrugged. "Someone else took care of me today." he placed the money on the table. "The food is good here. To bads its the only place to eat." he stood. "See you at lunch." he went off to work.

Rosemary shrugged. "Okay, see you." She said, clearing off the table after he left. She took the money and brought it to the innkeeper, as always, then continued to do her job.

Alex would play it cool for now and once the girl start trusting him a little more he could put the next part of the plan. For now he would go to work which he was rather enjoying.

Hours later, by lunchtime, Cal had completed several jobs and accepted several more. Things were going well on that front- the villagers were quickly coming to like and even trust him. He headed to the bakery, as was becoming his habit, to pick up some pasties for himself and his brother.

Lori was nursing a burn having gotten herself on one of he pans. The owner was in the middle of applying ointment to the burn. "S'all right child it happens to the best of us." she smiled at her. "It will hurt like hell for a while and you'll learn not to touch that part of the pan ever again." she chuckled as Lori pouted. She glanced over sensing Cal "Be with you in a sec." she finished what she was doing washed her hands and smiled at Cal. "Usual?"

Cal nodded and waited quietly while the owner tended to Lori. Once she got to him, he smiled at her. "Yes please, and a loaf of bread as well." One of his clients was running low on bread, and he intended to surprise them with it.

"Alright." The owner gave him what he wanted and took the money. "I'm sure you'll be here tomorrow." she chuckled. "its nice to see someone enjoy my food." she glanced at Lori who was cleaning. "There are a lot of new people in town." she frowned a little.

Cal handed over the money and smiled. "I'm sure I will." He agreed. "Your food is too good to ignore, really." He didn't look at Lori. "Yes, I've heard my brother and I came here at the same time as some others. Do you get a lot of travelers through here?"

"Not really we aren't on the main path. Though we'll have workers from nearby villages and farms come for the food at the inn." She shrugged. "Go on know before the buns get cold."

Cal nodded. "Alright then. Thank you!" He said, and headed on his way.
