Rosemary laughed. "Alright, just making sure." She said.

Cal noticed Alex getting tired, but decided not to say anything. His brother wouldn't listen anyway. But still he kept an eye on him, ready to step in at the first sign of trouble.

"Honestly." Lori smiled softly. "Unless that's what you want." she countered

Alex stopped and took a breath. "I'm going to ride the horse for a while." he had pushed himself to the limit and he didn't want to overexert himself.

Rosemary snorted and shook her head. "I'm not so naïve as to want something like that. They're bounty hunters, not fairy tale heroes."

Cal nodded, glad that Alex had made that call himself rather than making Cal force him. He stood by to help if Alex had any trouble.

Alex climbed on and began to fall asleep on the horse.

Lori nodded and yawned. "Maybe we should stop soon."

Cal kept him upright, allowing him to fall asleep if he needed to.

Rosemary nodded. "Yeah. We'll go just a little further and then set up camp."

Lori blinked as it started to drizzle. "Perfect." she sighed looking around. "We need to find shelter." she noticed a break in the brush. "Come on." She hopped off the horse and lead her threw the small hole. "A cave?" she blinked. "Oh please don't let there be a bear in there.

Alex blinked as it started to rain. "Just perfect." he grumbled pulling his hood up.

Rosemary sighed. "Of course it starts raining." She hopped down off of her horse and went into the cave. "I don't think anything lives here. We should be fine for one night." She said.

Cal glanced up at the sky, mumbling curses at the clouds as if they had personally insulted him. "Should we continue on, or look for a place to stop?" He asked. If Alex weren't hurt, he'd simply push on through the rain. They had a job to do, after all. But with his brother on the mend, it was imperative that he make sure neither of them got sick.

"Lets hope so." Lori lead the horses in shaking her hair out. "This should be good." she placed her bed roll on the ground. "At least they didn't get wet."

Alex nodded. "As much I want to continue in my condition find shelter would be the best chance. Besides it's not like there going anywhere soon."

Rosemary nodded as she put her bedroll down and then went to rub down the horses. "It's lucky we found this place so quickly. We can't afford to let the horses get sick." She said. "Shall we start up a fire?"

Cal nodded, making a sound of consent. "I'll start looking for somewhere to hunker down, then. If you can see any spots from up there, let me know. A cave would be ideal."

"Yeah. I'll get it start." Lori pulled her cloak on pulling up the hood. "Lets home I can find wood thats dry enough." she headed out.

"A cave would be great." Alex agreed. "I'll stay here under this big tree."

After taking care of the horses, Rosemary set up a small fire pit for when her sister got back.

Cal nodded again and started off looking for some kind of shelter for the night.

Lori came back with an arm full of wood. "It's really starting to come down out there." she took her cloak off shaking it out. "I got as much as I could carry but one of us will have to go out later as well."

((Okay then))

Rosemary looked up and nodded. "That's fine for now. I'll go out to get the rest later." She said.

It wasn't long before Cal spotted a cave. "I think I found a place. Let's go." He said, leading the horse with Alex towards the promise of shelter.

Lori heard horse hooves as well as human ones and pulled her sister into the shadows leaving the wood on the ground all save the two sharpest. 'Its those bounty hunters." she growled. "If we get the weak one we'll have the upper hand."

Rosemary nodded and quietly took one of the sharp pieces of wood, ready to attack. Part of her felt a stab of guilt for attacking the already wounded man, but she pushed it aside.

Cal stopped outside the cave. "Someone's been here recently. Very recently." He said. "Stay here while I go inside and check it out." He told his brother, pulling his knife as he entered the cave.

Alex headed into the entrance to keep from getting soaked threw. "Who could be here?'' he frowned and stepped closer to his brother not realizing he had stepped closer to the girls.

Lori nodded to Rose and sprung taking Alex by surprise as she swung her weapon bringing him down. Alex hit the ground with a grunt blinking as the girl held the sharp object over his throat. "Don't move." she growled.

Cal was about to answer when the girls jumped out at them. They both went for Alex, which served only to piss him off. As they passed, he managed to grab the younger one, twist her arm behind her back and pin her down with his knife to her throat. "Let him up, or I'll kill her."

Rosemary went to jump the wounded man, but found herself pinned down by the older one before she could blink. She struggled against his hold, but felt something cold and sharp prick against her neck. A knife. She held very, very still. Maybe trying to ambush a couple of bounty hunters was a bad idea.

"You!" Lori growled and turned her weapon on him leaving Alex to lie there since he couldn't get up without help. "WHY CAN'T YOU LEAVE US ALONE?" she glared.

Cal glared at the princess, tightening his grip on her sister. "Do you really think we came to this cave because of you? Don't flatter yourself! We were just looking for shelter from the rain. Kind of important, considering my brother is seriously wounded, wouldn't you think?" He snarled. "Here's a better question: what the hell are you doing here? The two of you should have been long gone by now."

"Oh her like you the only ones who can get stuck in the rain." Lori snorted. "Let my sister go!" she growled. She had a different reason for not getting further, she had been hoping to see Elliot.

"I'll let her go when you swear not to hurt my brother. Swear it on her life." Cal said, not willing to give up the only leverage he had just yet.

Rosemary growled, not liking being used that way. "We're not gonna hurt your brother, as long as you don't bother us!" She protested.

"Fine I swear." Lori growled. "You two sit in that corner and we'll to over there. If you come near us I'll cut you I swear."

"Agreed. And same to you." Cal said, letting Rosemary go. He moved over to Alex to help him up. "Are you alright?" He asked quietly, worried about his brother.

Rosemary stumbled away from the man, one hand going to the small, almost unnoticeable cut on her neck. She backed off until she was next to Lori, glaring at the two boys.

Alex blinked and then started to laugh. "I got had by a girl." he took Cals hand and struggled up. "I'm perfectly fine. Though I seem to be losing my touch." he grinned at Lori. "I have to give her props."

Lori huff blushing a little. "Yeah well it was easy so." she shrugged.

Cal glared at Lori for a second before turning back to his brother. "It's only because you were already hurt." He said, his pride not letting him admit that Lori had done well.

Rosemary huffed. "I can't believe I let myself get caught like that. Elliot would be ashamed."
