"I thought that was Batsy." Harley smirked. "What happened to Superdork?" Lori blushed softly and shrugged. "Clark broke it off." she knew if she told Harley she had caught him kissing Lois she would go and kill both of them without hesitation.

Gemini's expression turned dark, but she cleared it as quickly as she could, giving Harley a look that said there was more to the story. "Either way, Bruce is treating her much better, and they're so precious together. You would not believe how innocent he is, getting all shy and blushing around her!"

"It's not that bad." Lori mumbled smiling a little. "Ow thats so cute." Harley grinned. "Has he taken you to any parties?" "not yet but we did go out for lunch together and we kissed.' Lori was blushing by now.

Gemini squealed. "You kissed? You didn't tell me that! Ooohhh, I want details! What was it like? Is he a good kisser? Was it quick or a nice, long one? Did anyone see you?"

"It was nice and long." Lori was bright pink. "Clark and Lois saw." she smirked. "He's so much better then Bruce. I kind of wish I had started dating him first. I'm even glad Clark and I..." she trailed off a slow look of realization falling over her face. "oh....'' the word was barely a whisper.

Gemini paused in her delighted giggling, getting worried when Lori seemed to go still. "Lori...? You and Clark...you didn't...did you ever...do the deed?" She asked carefully, not sure she wanted to know the answer.

"No we didn't.'' Lori glancing away. "Even when I wanted to." she had a sad look on her face like she had just figured something out. "Gem...remember how I said you couldn't kill Clark? I changed my mind."

Gemini blinked. "Well, I can't say I'm not happy about this development, but...would you mind telling me why? You don't have to, of course, I'm just curious what made you change your mind."

"Every time I wanted to he just pushed me away then I saw him touching her and kissing her. In a way he never did with me." Lori trailed off. "What are you saying you think he was holding out for Lois or that he was cheating on you with her!?" Harley sat up. "The second one." Lori whispered. "WHAT!?" Harley roared and sprung off the sill. "I'll kill him!"

"He was cheating." Gemini looked as if she were about to burst into flames- and considering her powers, it was entirely possible. "Wait up Harley, I called dibs days ago!"

"Well come on then." Harley took her hand. "I think Bruce keeps some kryptonite in the cave maybe we could try sneaking it." Lori laughed. "You two are awesome." she grinned. "I'm not even sure he was cheating on me and your both willing to kill him."

"He was absolutely cheating on you. You found him kissing Lori while you were still dating. Cheating doesn't have to be sex, you know. And he did it on the day of Harley's funeral. That alone is worth killing him." Gemini said. "Now let's go kill him."

"He was what!?" Harley hissed eyes turning dark. "Oh we are going to kill him." she snarled. "You can't break into the cave." Lori pointed out. "It's impossible." "Then we'll use yours." Harley marched into her hidden room and came back with a sliver of kryptonite. "Put down the weapon." Lori grimaced. "No way. You did the same thing with me. Except Joker is like a cockroach you cant kill him easily." Harley had that crazy grin on her face as she pulled Gemini out the window. Lori thought about stopping them but with a shrug she decided to go with to watch the fun.

"You actually keep Kryptonite around?" Gemini laughed, obviously delighted by this fact. She followed Harley eagerly. "Damn, I wish we had a car. At least the scumbag lives nearby."

"Clark said that he wanted me to have it just in case." Lori shrugged softly. "We could take Lori's car but they could use it to tie her to the murder." Harley shrugged. "We're better of walking." "can't we wait until tomorrow? The suns going to come up soon." Lori sighed.

"No, dawn is the perfect time to strike. Not too many people around, but enough that us walking down the street won't look suspicious. And if we're lucky, we'll catch him with her, and then we can kill both of them." Gemini said cheerfully, as if she planned a murder every day.

Lori snorted a little but remained silent as the approached Clark's place. She lead them up the fire escape pausing when she noticed the window was ajar. She could see Lois and Clark "that was great as always Clark." Lois smiled at Clark then gasped as Lori slammed into Clark roaring. Harley blinked as her sister pummeled Clark "OH sugar!" she flinched as Lori slammed the kryptonite some place very uncomfortable. But she didn't stop there continuing her attack. "Lori!" Harley managed to pull her off as sirens sounded in the distance. Clark was on the ground moaning and Lois was in the corner the phone in her hand.

Before anyone could see her face, Gemini transformed- which also served as a good distraction, with the flash of light it caused- and jumped into the room. She shot a bolt of electricity at the phone in Lois' hand, causing it to explode and paralyzing Lois at the same time. "Should we go, or just finish the job? It would be quick. No one will have to know who it was." She asked, making sure not to use any names. It was still dark enough that their identities were unknown...except Lori, but that couldn't be helped anymore.

"The cops are too close and once they see this they might call in Bruce." Harley pulled Lori out the window. She managed to get her away from the apartment and into the middle of the town square. "THAT UNBELIEVABLE JERK!" Lori screamed. "Duck!" Harley pulled Gemini down as Lori screamed and flames shot skyward burning several trees and burning some poor squirrels.

Gemini was already ducking, knowing the explosion that was coming next. The heat nearly burned her, even while she was transformed. "I agree with you, but we have a bigger problem right now. I was disguised, and Harley is safe because everyone thinks she's dead. But I'm pretty sure they both know that was you, Lori."

"I DON'T CARE!" Lori punch a tree growling. "Let them arrest me. I should go back and finish the job!" Harley carefully took her hands. Lori relax." she squeezed her hands gentle. "Take some deep breaths." Lori took in a deep breath. "I want to see Bruce." "Alright we'll take you there." Harley kept a hold on her sister.

Gemini nodded. "Let's go. I know some back alley shortcuts we can use so we're not seen." She said. "Of course, we may not even need to." She pointed up to the sky, where the bat signal was already shining.

Lori spotted it the looked down at her blood covered hands and cloths. "I'm in trouble aren't I?" "Very much so. If the police doesn't get you Bruce will and if he doesn't Ivy is going to kill you for burning trees." Harley pointed out making Lori groan she thought about running but knew that no one could have missed her pillar of flames. "He's going to show up in three, two, one." she pointed behind her.

Right on time, Batman appeared from the shadows. "Am I that predictable?" He asked. If he was surprised by Harley's presence, he didn't show it.

"A little." Lori gave him a half smile. She tried in vain to hide her hands but it didn't really matter since her shirt was covered in blood as well.
