"You've put me in a difficult position, Lori." Batman said. "If Lois hadn't seen you, I would be able to just say that I couldn't find the attacker, but they know your identity. Your only choice now is me or the cops...and I don't want the cops to take you." He glanced at Gemini and Harley. "I don't want...I honestly understand why you did what you did. I don't blame you, after what he did. But I can't let it slide-they won't let me. Do you understand?" He seemed to be begging. "We have a very limited window of time to figure something out."

Lori sighed a little. "I didn't even really mean to I just snapped. I'm sorry." tears appeared in her eyes. "At least it's just Arkham. I can break out with in a night." "Or we could beat up Bruce and go into hiding until this blows over." Harley suggested. Lori snorted. "I'm not sure the three of us could take him though it might be fun to try." she smirked a little.

"While breaking you out of Arkham would be fun, you'd still be a wanted criminal from there on out." Gemini said. "Which would make it hard to date Bruce. I say we do what Harley did. We'll stage it to look like I caught up to you and we fought. You were exhausted and that giant explosion of fire ended up killing you as well as seriously wounding me. After that we can make up a new identity for you and we can go on like nothing ever happened." She suggested.

"Or we get Ivy to mess with Lois so no one will believe what she saw." Harley smirked. "What do you think Bruce." Lori turned to Bruce. "Even if I die I would have to go out as someone else all the time and I would rather date you as me...if you still want to date me."

Even with his face covered, Batman still managed to look shy. "I...of course I want to date you. Believe me I wouldn't be letting this slide if you weren't special to me." He mumbled the last part so that only Lori could hear.

"Well then that settles that. We'll just ask Ivy to do a little...damage control. It'll help that they saw me as Kitsune. Most people think they're hallucinating when they see Kitsune." Gemini said with a nod.

"And I'm suppose to be dead." Harley smirked. "Speaking of Ivy, I'm going to go see her and crash in the forest." she slipped away to go find Ivy.

Lori blushed softly then smiled at Bruce. "I'm glad to hear that...I'm probably going to need to quiet the Justice League." She sighed. "I just...I don't want to be anywhere near him."

Gemini slipped away to catch up with Harley really quick. "Harley, hey." She caught up. "You're not going to disappear on us, are you? Now that we know you're alive...you'll visit and stuff, right?" She asked.

Batman nodded. "I understand. After tonight, I think it's best that the two of you stay clear of each other. Although, I'm not even sure if he survived what you did to him." He said thoughtfully.

"Yeah...I did get...stabby." Lori's smirk was evil. "He deserved every one of them and more!" she clenched her hands into fists flames appeared around them.

"I'll be back...if Ivy lets me survive of course." Harley chuckled and hugged Gemini. "I promise to be back."

Batman glanced around, then stepped forward and hugged her. "I know. I know he did. Try to calm down though, okay? If you keep setting fires the police are going to show up."

Gemini hugged her back tightly before letting go. "Good. I'm holding you to that. There's a lot I need to tell you that Lori won't want me to, but I think you should know."

Lori inhaled and the fire vanished from her hands. "This is true." she smiled and hugged him back. "You should be more careful fire proof cloths or not its dangerous to take my fire head on."

Harley frowned curiously then nodded. "Be back soon...I hope." she vanished into the streets heading for Ivy's forest.

"You're worth the risk." Batman said without thinking.

Gemini nodded and waved, then headed back to Lori. She smiled when she saw her and Bruce hugging.

Lori turned a dark pink color and smiled at him. "No one has ever said that to me." she grinned into his chest then sighed as a fire truck headed for them.

"Well I'm saying it now." Batman said, looking up at the sound of the fire truck. "You should go. I'll stay and tell the firemen that I couldn't find the source of the fire."

Gemini stepped forward at the sound of sirens. "Lori, we should go." She said. The sun was almost completely up, and they needed to split before people started recognizing them.

Lori kissed Bruce once then took Gemini's hand and raced off a grin on her face. When they reached her apartment she stopped running. "He is amazing."

Gemini grinned, panting slightly as she caught her breath. "I can tell. He's a good catch, and he really cares about you." She said. "Hang on to him. I mean it."

"I don't plan on letting him go any time soon. Now for your man problem. Tomorrow we are going to face Joker and make him see you."

Gemini pulled up short. "Woah, hang on a second, back up!" She said, raising her hands in a stopping motion. "That is the opposite of what should be happening. I'm supposed to move on, not try to get his attention. Besides, how does anyone get the attention of someone like that? I'm not dressing as a clown if that's the plan."

Lori grinned evilly. "I've already did one act of evil. Whats one more?" she chuckled. "And my mind is just as twisted as his. If I can find some plan that would catch his interest." she frowned in thought. "I do have a very valuable gem that Joker was after." she smirked.

Gemini smacked her forehead. "Of course you do." She sighed. "I suppose there's no talking you out of this?" She asked, but the look on Lori's face was enough of an answer. "Alright, fine. But I'm going to be involved in whatever plan we make, and if I say no to something, that's the end of it. Okay?"

Lori blinked at her. "Once the plan is in motion the plan can not be stopped." she leaned towards her a crazy smile on her face. "There will be no escape." she let out a demonic chuckle and slipped away humming something.

Gemini blinked. "Lori? What does that mean? Lori!" She followed her friend. "I'm serious, I want to be involved in the planning process! If you do something without my knowing it I'll never forgive you!"

Lori tilted her head to the side and gave a smile. "Don't worry I'm not going to do anything to bad...maybe." she grinned and grabbed a notebook filled with villain notes. "I kind of miss it." she sighed. "It was a lot more fun." she started to write brows drawn in thought. "Lets see...auction...maybe but would Joker show if the whole of Gothams elite was there maybe." she frowned a little.

Gemini smirked. "Villaining was fun for a while." She agreed, leaning over to look at the notes. "Any social function would work, as long as it gave him a reason to terrorize the rich people and draw Batman out." She said. "Even better if he gets to steal something as well. I don't see what any of that has to do with me though."

"Oh it can be a museum. I could let them have it back if they throw a party. You will be the one who steals it from Joker of course but remember I want my gem back." Lori turned to look at her.

Gemini blinked. "I'm going to steal it...from him?" She smiled. "While that sounds like a great challenge and a lot of fun, I don't see how stealing from him is going to make him like me. If anything it'll just piss him off."
