Valerie couldn't help the snickers that slipped out.

"Oh dear," she said. "Well, at least you know you were tested by the best. It's not often anyone is tested by Arthur himself."

"I didn't die," Callie pointed out. "So I didn't do horribly. But oh god that was hard." She paused for a second. "Also kind of fun, in retrospect."

Valerie laughed a bit.

"Well, I'm sure they'll let you do it again if you ask," she said. "Eggsy will spar any time, too."

"Oh I bet. I've already promised him baked goods in exchange for helping me not get lost." Callie grinned.

Valerie snickered.

"Well, you've pretty much earned his undying loyalty," she said. "He's got a ridiculous sweet tooth."

Callie snickered. "Winning over the Round Table with baked goods and charm, one at a time," she joked.

"Good luck," Valerie said, grinning. "Has Roxy come back yet? You'll like her, she's sort of like a friendlier version of Natasha."

"I haven't seen her yet, but I also haven't met everyone. I think once I have my actual position I'll meet people." Callie shrugged.

"Roxy's on a mission," Valerie said, waving a hand even though her sister couldn't see it. "Has been since before we made the switch, but she's due back soon."

"Excellent. That'll be great." Callie grinned. "Coulson give you any clue what you'll be doing? Besides some paperwork."

"No idea," Valerie said. "He's being infuratingly vague. And I thought Merlin was the only one who could be that way."

Callie laughed at that. "Oh yeah, Coulson's got infuriatingly vague down to an art form," she said with a grin. "He never stops that, by the way, so better get used to it."

Valerie snickered.

"Merlin is too," she said. "I'm sure we're both used to it by now." She paused. "So, I wonder what missions they've all had to run together? Because I guarantee Harry's run into Clint, and I really want those details."

"I can find out," Callie offered. "I don't have the clearance to access his files directly, but Natasha does, and I can bribe her with really good vodka and sparring. We have a whole exchange system worked out now."

"You do that," Valerie said. She grinned. "We might also be able to pry it out of Eggsy, if he knows. Harry and Merlin are both tight-lipped on it all."

"Yeah, Coulson usually is too," Callie said with a sigh. "Once in a while Nat is too. I'll see what I can find out from her about this, though."

"I'm just desperately curious," Valerie said. She snickered. "When we showed up there, he actually called Clint a menace, and I know I heard a good story in there but there was no time to ask."

"Oh god." Callie grinned. "He totally has Clint's number, that takes a few visits at least. I need the whole story here."

"Oh that's definitely at least three encounters," Valerie agreed. She practically cackled. "This will be golden if we can ever get the full story. And I bet you anything it involves trying to get Clint into a suit somehow."

"Oh that is never going to happen," Callie said, grinning. "Not even for a bulletproof suit. He complains any time he has to wear anything fancier than jeans and a t-shirt outside of missions."

"That's why I guarantee that's part of the story," Valerie said, grinning as well. "I bet you someone tried, and nearly succeeded. Or failed spectacularly, or both."

"It's entirely possible," Callie agreed. "I'll have to see what I can find out, this is going to be golden."

"Think I might be able to bribe some information out of Clint and Natasha if I make those pork and shrimp fried dumplings?" Valerie asked. "I don't know if I ever made them for you, I don't remember, but I definitely made them with Eggsy around and he definitely ate most of them."

Callie snorted. "You can try," she said with a shrug. "Food is always good with Clint. Natasha is more picky, you'll have to negotiate your own terms with her."

"I'm sure I'll figure something out," Valerie said. She stretched a bit. "Though it's good to know that Clint is food-motivated. I might not bake like you, but I might be able to cook something I can use as a bribe."
