"Do I get to smack Clint with a rolled up newspaper if he deserves it?" Valerie asked curiously, more joking than anything.

"With that said, I feel that your particular skills will be best utilized by being a direct support agent for some of our Knights," Merlin said. "More specifically: for Lancelot, Galahad, and Arthur." He paused briefly, and then continued. "Of course, you will still liaise with SHIELD, should the need arise, but in the meantime I'd like you working with our best Knights."

Coulson shrugged. "If that's what works, then yes. I've found a rolled up newspaper just incites more bad behavior, but you're free to try."

Callie blinked, caught off-guard by that. Her mouth fell open a little. "With those three?" she asked, just making sure. "I, um. Okay." She blinked again.

"Good to know, thank you, sir," Valerie said. She straightened her jacket a little. "Then I'll go and read what you gave me and try to mentally prepare myself for all of this."

"Well you certainly get on with Eggsy like a house on fire," Merlin observed dryly. "I've no reason to believe you wouldn't get on with Roxy as well. And I'd like someone to keep an eye on Harry; he is sometimes a bit reckless, of late, and I feel that would be mitigated with a support agent."

Coulson smiled. "Let me know if you have questions," he agreed.

Callie nodded. "So like Barton duty but more posh and with way more tea."

"Will do, sir," Valerie said, nodding. She checked her watch. "Almost time for midmorning tea, if you'd like some too?"

"That's one way of putting it," Merlin said, nodding. He handed her a small tablet. "Here. Everything you'll need is on here, including all of your network access and clearances."

"Thank you, that does sound nice this morning." Coulson smiled a bit. "Something you did often across the pond? Inviting others, I mean."

Callie nodded and took the tablet. "Does Arthur know you're assigning him a sitter?" she asked, glancing meaningfully around the otherwise empty office.

"Roxy, occasionally, if she was around between missions," Valerie admitted as she went to get the tea service she'd brought with her. "Sometimes Eggsy, if he felt like tea. But otherwise, no, not really. I'm not on casual terms with most of the Knights." She opened her drawer of different teas and sifted through them. "Do you have a preference?"

"He knows I'm assigning a support agent," Merlin replied. "I might have neglected to tell him he would be sharing that support agent with two other Knights. I've found it's best not to give him enough time to protest such things." He smirked. "And he would be the first to tell you that he does not need to be kept an eye on."

"Surprise me." Coulson half watched her, half focused on his screen again.

Callie grinned at that. "I understand," she said. "Anything else I need to know for now, sir?"

Valerie just grinned a bit and pulled out a yellow tea she was fond of. The hot water came from the coffee maker, so she didn't have to wait for a kettle, which meant she was able to get the tea ready faster. She poured some into two large teacups and brought one to Coulson, two lumps of sugar on the side just in case.

"Not at the moment," Merlin replied. He nodded to her tablet. "Take the morning and look through that, and come to me if you have questions."

"Thank you." Coulson took a sip of the tea and made a surprised pleased face. It was nice. Different from what he'd expected, but nice.

"Will do, sir." Callie nodded to him and retreated, going to find somewhere to look over all this information. She had some reading to do.

Valerie grinned at the surprise on his face.

“Merlin made sure I know how to make tea,” she said.

Roxy was in the common area, a pot of tea already in front of her as she perused world news on her phone. She glanced up when she heard someone come into the room and blinked. She’d heard from Eggsy already about what had gone on while she was on her mission, so she knew about Valerie’s sister.

“Hello,” she greeted.

"This is one I haven't tried before," Coulson told her, tapping the mug a couple times. "I expected a more traditional black."

"Hi. I'm Callie." She held out a hand to the lovely young woman, smiling a little. Damn but she needed to get one of those suits.

"Black tea is all well and good," Valerie said as she took a sip from her own cup. "But when I can, I prefer green and white tea. Sometimes yellow, like this one." She grinned a bit. "Sometimes I even got Merlin to try some. Though most of the Knights still prefer black tea above all else."

"Roxy," the Knight replied, smiling and shaking Callie's hand. "I've worked with your sister, I believe."

"That makes sense," Coulson agreed. "Harry in particular is rather a snob about his tea. I've seen it a few times."

"Oh yes, she's had excellent things to say about you," Callie said with a grin. "I think you missed the whole switching places bit, did anyone tell you what happened?"

Valerie snickered.

"Oh yes," she said. "Black tea or oblivion, with him."

Roxy nodded.

"Eggsy told me all about it," she said. "He was near bursting with wanting to tell me what had happened."

"Oh yes." Coulson rolled his eyes. Clearly this had been a topic of conversation between him and Harry before.

Callie grinned a bit. "This does not surprise me. For a spy agency, you're all gossip-y. Not that I've got room to talk; SHIELD is just as bad, if not worse because there's more people."

Valerie just grinned and enjoyed the rest of her tea.

Roxy laughed a bit.

"Well, we've got to have some fun, don't we?" she pointed out.

"Of course we do." Callie grinned. "Speaking of, I've already found I can bribe Eggsy to help me with almost anything if I give him baked goods. Will that work on you or am I going to have to get creative?" She grinned, half-teasing.

"I watch my diet carefully, I'm afraid," Roxy replied. She looked at Callie curiously. "Eggsy mentioned that you bake. You must be good, to have his praise."

"I spent all of college and all of my career at SHIELD stress baking," Callie told her with a bit of a grin. "There's been a lot of practice."

"There's also occasional crocheting, but that's less frequently," Callie said with a little shrug. "I don't blow stuff up until I'm really annoyed." She grinned cheekily.

Roxy snickered a bit at that.

"Do I look like Eggsy?" she asked teasingly, making a bit of a face. "I like to think I have a bit more finesse than that."
