"I didn't even try to return him to his body, because what caused us to go into this position was our mother. She was taken from us, we couldn't take it... and tried to bring her back. We paid the ultimate price for it."

"I see...so instead you did the next best thing" she said with a nod. Spying a cloth that was in good condition, she gave it to Yang. "Here, this should cover you well enough until we get you to my chambers. There I should be able to hopefully find you something that will fit."

"I'll have to make a pin out of the metal from the bell. It won't hold for long, but it could work." Yang went over to bell, examining it just to make sure it was the right material to even make a pin to hold the fabric together.

Rose waited patiently, not wanting Yang to have to be in any discomfort if she didn't want to be.

Yang took the wiring and broke down the bell to it's base material and the wiring to get the copper. She quickly created some crude pins, putting a few of them in her pocket before starting to mend her bindings. "Thanks for giving me the idea to do this, It will work in the short term." Yang smirked.

"You're welcome." Rose responded with a light smile. "Though I will admit...I did have a small crush on you when I didn't know you were a female," she admitted with a light blush.

Yang laughed, "My being female or being 'male' shouldn't matter in that regard really." She shrugged, "But that's just me."

Rose blushed lightly at that and just nodded.

Yang quickly got her bindings mended just enough to make her look like a man again, doing her hair back in the braided style. "As you can tell, I've gotten really good at this." She commented, holding a spare pin in her mouth just in case the current one struggled to hold the bindings.

"I can tell," Rose said with a light laugh. "I still think it's bad that you feel like you have to do that though" she admitted.

"If this is what it takes to make our road easier, then I'll do it. The last thing I need is to have my enemies try to use my gender against me. I am treated like an equal, not a piece of ass."

"Though some females do use their gender against their opponents," Rose countered.

"I hate that concept. My gender shouldn't have a play in combat. My skills should be the factor. As someone who had their face smashed in pointed out, I'm 'top heavy, and it's kind of hard not to notice.'" Yang clenched her fist. "I am not like Colonel Mustang or Lieutenant Hawkeye. Both of them are beautiful, but it's never brought up." She thought back to Winter and Weiss respectively, not really sure if they put up with the same stuff she had to so many times.

"I see that you are very passionate about this subject then," Rose said seriously as Yang finished what she was doing.

"I guess I have very strong view points. Ren has to deal with them all the time. But he's my brother, my little brother."

"I'm sorry for bringing it up then" Rose apologized.

"No reason to be sorry. I just... I get furious when I think of what I did to him."

"Don't be. Sure the results weren't what you were expecting, but you tried. That's more than what can be said about me. And from the sound of it, Ren wanted to try brining your mother back as much as you did. Did you know that was going to be the result?" she asked.

"No, We had no idea. He lost his body and I lost my leg... and that thing... Did I make my mother suffer a second time by putting her in that abomination." Yang said that last part to herself. It was clear she was forcing back the true emotion she had, replacing it with anger.

"Then don't beat yourself up over it. Yes you were in the wrong, and yes bad things happened. But you both went in blind without even thinking of what could have happened," she said before catching the tail end of her self-loathing. "And is there anyway you can confirm what you just said? Maybe that...thing, wasn't your mother?"

"It looked at me, It called my name in a... blood filled raspy voice... How would it know my name?" Yang looked at Rose in confusion at that thought.

"Good question, but is there anything that you remember about your mother? Like hair color for example. Or something else along those lines?" she asked before Ren commented that he was heading up the stairs and that he was able to find a few materials that she needed.

Yang was glad that Ren returned, it got Rose off her for a bit. The thoughts, the ideas... that actually pissed her off more then she would admit. "Thank you Ren." She smiled, taking the materials from him.

"You're welcome." he said before letting her take the cloths from him. Noticing how she almost took his hand with the material, he was curious if she was okay or not and made a note to ask about it once the two of them were alone.

Yang laid a few of the pieces out, "Alright... I'll set it up here then when we get to a room I'll change into it." She said, using her Alchemy to create the shirt/binding set up she had. She spent so long putting this outfit together, She would be sad if doing this didn't work. She took the cloth, and spare fabric that didn't transmute into her arms and looked at the two. "Let's go, I don't think we should be here when the mod arrives. They'll be near the end of forming now."
