Little Sen blinked and let a out a sqwil as she started to laugh

"Your so cute." Lori teased Cal as she drove off of the interstate towards the forest.

Kyle blinked at them and smiled softly as he looked back forward.

Little Sen laughed harder sqwerming ariound in the seat

Cal stopped tickling her and stretched. "How far is it?"

"Three hours. Two if I floor it." Lori shrugged. Eventually she turned onto a dirt path threw the forest.

After a while Cal was sure she had gone the wrong way "this road is bumpy." he groaned.

Little Sen grinned and laughed a bit."its not too bad'

Kyle grinned."look Cal,the kid is less whiney then you",he jocked

Cal glared then blinked as the road smoothed out. Then the trees thinned out revealing a white fence with a gold gate with a phoenix on it. "Whoa." he gasped as the gate opened and they drove forward enough to spot the manor.

"Welcome to my home." Lori grinned at them.

Kyle blinked."woah"

Little Sen smiled."its like a castle"

"Thats what I thought when I was little." Lori smiled a little pulling into a large garage. "Stick close so you don't get lose." she held her hand out. "I'll show you around after we see dad." she opened the door and entered the house blinking at the silence then from the other room a boy and girl rushed towards her. "SISTER!" they tackled her to the ground and began to pepper her with question. Neither of them looked anything like her the girl had strawberry blond hair and silver colored eyes while the boy had chocolate brown hair and green eyes.

Kyle smiled to them."whos this?",he asked to Lori.

Little Sen sqweaked and his behinde Cal

Lori managed to get them off laughing. "Guys these are my adoptive siblings. The person who raised me wasn't really my dad but he is now and these two are my siblings." she ruffled there hair. "Hi." The boy grinned while the girl hid behind Lori. "Hi." she said shyly. "This is Adam and Selena." Lori introduced them. "Guys these are my friends. Kyle, Cal and Sen." As soon as Selena spotted Sen she edged out from behind Lori. "Is she mutant like us?" she asked "Yep." Lori grinned. "Finally another girl mutant!" Selena clapped her hands. "I can control plants and my brother controls fire." she offered her hand to Sen. "Want to play with us?"

Kyle smiled."hey"

Little Sen blinked at Selena and Adam."okay! " she said happily

"Great!" The lead her upstairs to there massive play room showing her everything.

"Looks like she already made friends." Lori smiled. "Lets go find my dad." she lead the way nodding to the maids they passed.

Laghing a bit Kyle followed looking around

A man with brown hair peppered with gray was sitting at a large table reading the paper. "Ah Lori. I'm glad your here. Margeret was just..." as the paper fell from his eyes he trailed off. "Who is this?" he ice blue eyes narrowed.

"Father these are my fellow students. Kyle and Cal. We need your help." Lori explained smiling as a older woman bustled in with a two year old girl and a baby with her.

Kyle gave a smile."its nice to meet you",he said kindly

"You know I usually don't like having visitors especially ones that come without warning." He scolded Lori. "I know father but Magneto was at the school, we think he was going after the little girl I was with." Lori frowned when her fathers eyes widened for a brief second. "They can stay but once you are here you stay in the house till Magneto vanished again." He sighed.

Kyle nodded "alright.",he said softly

"Why did you look so surprised?" Lori frowned. "I'm just surprised he got that close to the school." Her father smiled at them. "Why don't you show them around?" "Alright." Lori frowned more and lead the way pausing on the other side of the door. "Ed this is bad. Do you think he knows?" the older woman's voice drifted to them. "He might if his wife told him or someone else told him. I was hoping to keep this secret for a little longer till her powers where more controlled but if he knows she's his daughter we may have no choice." her father sighed. Lori's eyes widened

"Where they talking about you?" Cal's mouth was open a little.

Kyle blinked worried.".....you okay?",he askeed her softly

Lori shook her head then a choke she raced up the stairs and down the hall and into her room collapsing onto her bed in tears.

Kyle frowned and carefuly followed after her, ane kneeled beside her bed."Im so sorry",he said softly

"How can I be his daughter?" Lori sobbed turning so that she could pull him into hug. "Of all the people. Why?" she choked on her words and started to cry harder.

Kyle frowned and hugged her tight."I don't know...but your not like him,that much I know "


Little Sen who had been drawing found Cal and gently pulled on his shirt

"Yes Sen?" Cal glanced down at her with a smile.

Lori wanted to believe him but there was so much going threw her head and it was a lot to take in. She just crushed him tighter and didn't respond.
