I have spent so much money on clothes and hairstyles. I go nuts in any game that has a variety of wears. I'm at a point now where I've gained so much monies all in a cluster of different story points, so it won't hurt much to continue buying fashions. Also, in plaza, if you praise the other person's outfit then they'll pick some random clothing item they're wearing and offer a duplicate to you for FC.
By the way, if anyone wants to be poké-pals feel free to PM your friend code. If not then I understand. A lot of people are leery about that.

I changed my girl's hair twice because the misleading color names gave her way too light of hair. It's still too light at my 2nd choice but dangit, I ain't paying for any more of their lies! I did buy her a flowery skirt though. :) I want to find more colorful clothes next so she stands out more - most folks I've been seeing in my plaza are also dressed in black and white.
Speaking of, I have a lottery counter in my plaza now - random freebie each day. And I just discovered that those fortune teller tents actually teach you new phrases you can assign to your trainer/profile responses. I keep getting really strange ones. I love the festival plaza!

I shamelessly saved the game, gave myself every possible hair color and cut, and then shut it off so I didn't waste all of my money figuring out which one I wanted. XD
I really want some better shoe options. So far what I've seen is crap. >.< I'm totally hipstering it up with a giant pair of glasses and hibiscus over the knee socks. XD

I ended up restarting before the second trial. I was trying to catch the wishiwashi and it wasn't going so well. Only I hadn't saved in a while and ended up having to redo some stuff. ^^; Oh well, I'm almost caught up again.

It's a water type Poet. a fish. hella lame. :P
'scuse me while I go put more bows on my scolipede and try to become a bug catcher to end all bug catchers. Maybe I'll take Burgh's job and be the next awesome bug gym leader. I can do that right?

Hehe! It's nice that there are so many different bug types for your to play with!
My new party so far is pikachu, cutiefly, fomantis, torracat, rockruff, and slowpoke. Slowpoke is going back in the box once I get my pyukumuku. Probably the rockruff will go when I get my aloha vulpix. No idea when that will be though.

I'm sure it does...it uses no 3D at all on the 3DS.

There is a "new" 3DS that has games that are not compatible with the "old" 3DS so it's a valid question but pokemon Sun/Moon doesn't have any compatibility issues.

I've actually seen a vid about different sun/moon complaints and one of them was battle lag and generally slow battle pace. Supposedly the game was not optimized for "older" 3DS. I do experience lag sometimes and the pace is indeed slower, but it doesn't irk me too bad. Like others have said, there is the lack of 3D usage so 2DS might just be in the clear.
I've beaten the elite 4 to become champ and successfully beat the four again to retain my title. Now I'm just breeding for a team I'll use competitively. I have a new Rowlet with nature and stats that I can work with and now I'm just going to focus on core stats. Same for any others.

I love the game so far. The story is the best part. My Pokemon got pokerus while I played through the story.

I hate when I go into a new area and encounter a good pokemon first thing and then accidentally kill it without know it's super rare and then take like hours trying to find another one. @ [email protected]

There is a law in gaming, which the more an item is desired the harder it is to find.

So far all I have seen are magikarps and I had a hell of a time catching one because my pokemon all 1 hit KO those things. I think if I did find a feebas I'd probably kill it. Should probably go switch out my party...

I remember there being an ability that couldn't kill pokemon. It would drop them to 1 hp at the lowest. I wonder if this version has it. I forget the name.

False Swipe. Just found it. Worth getting if your team is too strong. Designate a "catching" pokemon perhaps.
