I know if you swallow enough blood, it feels like it's caught in your throat.

In my case I could understand that because I clot super fast, courtesy of a high platelet count. Not sure I would like choking on my own blood, go ahead and mark that on my "worst ways to die" list.

I do this thing where I almost never get nosebleeds, but when I do, it's straight out of the animes.

Do you have those thin membranes in your nose too? My mom's side of the family is famous for those kinds of nose bleeds. Thankfully my dad saved me from a childhood of crazy nose bleeds. I just got ear infections.

I don't know. I think it happens if I accidentally scratch the inside and then try to blow my nose. Sister got nosebleeds all the time when she was little, but it seems she doesn't do it ever anymore.

My older sister got bloody noses when she ate chocolate and the air was dry outside, not quite instant, but pretty close. Scared my mom a few times because Amy would stand over the faucet and it would just run out of her nose. Vaseline would help stop it and allow it time to clot.

That is a weird condition for that to happen.

It has to do with thin membranes in the nose, chocolate is a blood thinning agent and the dry air dried out those thin membranes. Perfect storm for a massive bloody nose. When she moved to Oregon where the air has more moisture, she didn't have the problem at all. Living in Colorado she doesn't have the issue either. Good thing to because she loves chocolate and is a chef, chocolate is a requirement.

Damn family genetics from my mother's side.

Had me some peanut butter M&Ms last night after work. So good!

Making lasagna tonight, kind of looking forward to it. Yum.

Marry someone that is healthy with good genes and start making your line stronger. Or healthier, whatever. That's how we make better cows, chickens, horses and other herd animals, genetics mixing with better genetics.

Oh, I have no plans on having children or catching a man. When you look at things that way, I'm fortunately a dead end.

Do what you gotta do for you, Amane. Nothing wrong with not wanting kids or catching a man.

Today is sort of a blah day...kind of quiet here at work, which means I can catch up on some stuff. Yippee

Not sure I want to ever find out what my threshold for pain is to get to the pass out point. Having a gall bladder going bad on you and trying to turn your pancreas and liver to their evil side is not pleasant. I've survived that without passing out...Not ready to test losing a limb.

Surprisingly enough now that I live in the desert I don't get nose bleeds hardly ever. Hoping that means I have acclimated to the dry air.
