"Well maybe we can create a table for people who are half and half." Belle grimaced remembering the amused faces of her clan mates. She knew earning them back wasn't going to be easy and she honestly wasn't sure she wanted to try. Suddenly a low growl sounded. "Was that a tiger?" she blinked.

"No that was my stomach." Alex blushed softly looking away.

Rosemary laughed. "Apparently shifters just make animal sounds all the time." She teased. With a little effort, she managed to stand up. "I'm going to get dressed. You can go ahead to breakfast, I'll catch up."

"Thanks." Alex raced off to get food.

"Boys." Belle snorted softly. "There so weird."

Rosemary chuckled. "They're like bottomless pits, I swear." She said. "Okay, time to get dressed." She was getting cold with just a blanket protecting her. She went into the cabin and got dressed as quickly as she could while injured, then came back out, ready for breakfast.

Belle waited the whole time staring off into space.

Alex dug into his breakfast sighing happily.

Rosemary was surprised to find Belle still waiting when she came out. "Oh, you're here. You didn't have to wait for me, you know. Not that I don't appreciate it!"

"Well I have to start trying harder since I have no other choice but to stay here now." Belle sighed and lead the way blinking at all the food piled in front of Alex. "That's a lot of food."

Rosemary wasn't sure how to reply to that, so she stayed quiet. When they got to the cafeteria, she looked at all the food in front of Alex and chuckled. "I guess transforming takes a lot of energy out of you. I mean, it certainly does for me." She said, just as her stomach growled loudly. She blushed. "I'm going to...get some breakfast for myself..."

Cal woke up late that morning, and rushed to get dressed. By the time he got to the cafeteria, he was just awake enough to realize he'd forgotten his eye patch. Cursing to himself, he decided he'd have to go back for it after breakfast. He was sure he could go at least that long without seeing a ghost- or drawing attention to his blind eye. Sure, he could totally do that.

Belle nodded and walked over to to sit with Alex feeling out of place away from the vampires.

Alex smiled at her to busy eating to talk.

Rosemary came back moments later with a sizable amount of food on her own tray. She sat down, blushing slightly at the fact that she had so much food, and started eating.

Gathering his courage, Cal went into the cafeteria and went to get his food. So far so good- no ghosts lingering around. Looking for a place to sit, he noticed Belle sitting with the shifter and half-were from before. He approached, ignoring the people who were starting to stare at his obviously blind eye. "Is it alright if I sit here?"

"it's a free country." Belle glanced up at him and blinked a couple times. She shrugged and moved over making room for him as she stole a fry from Alex's plate.

Rosemary looked up and waved. "Sure, sit down." She said, too busy with her food to notice anything different.

Cal gave a grateful smile and sat down. He'd noticed Belle noticing his eye, and was glad beyond words that she hadn't said anything.

Alex glanced up and swallowed. "So are we excited for another day of classes?"

"Not really." Belle sighed. "This school thing is annoying."

Cal nodded. "Yes, actually. We never had real classes on the chameleon compound, so this whole school thing is kind of new and interesting." He said.

Rosemary swallowed. "I don't mind classes so much. It's an excuse not to be with the pack, and I can concentrate on other stuff. It's probably the only thing I'm actually not horrible at, too."

"I'm with Belle on this. School is annoying." Alex finished eating and stood. "I'll take your tray if your done Rose."

Belle smirked and waved her hand under her nose.

Rosemary took another bite and then swallowed. "Sure, thanks." She said. She caught sight of what Belle was doing and scowled. She stuck her tongue out.

Cal caught the exchange and raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what was that? Was there a bad smell?" He asked.

"No." Belle rolled her eyes. ''I can smell the pheromones on him thats all." she teased Alex

Alex glared and took Rose's tray hurrying away.

"Pheromones? Isn't that the chemical that people give off when they- oh." His eyes widened with realization, and he smirked. "So he definitely wants some of that."

Rosemary squeaked in outrage, and her face went bright red. "D-don't say things like that!" She said, completely embarrassed. She became more embarrassed when she realized that she was probably giving off some pheromones, herself.

"Why not? There true." Belle chuckled enjoying having someone to tease. She felt Angel staring at her and she waved her over. The girl joined them staring at Cal for longer then was needing. "Angel." Belle drew the girls attention and gave her a warning look.

Alex returned. "Everyone ready to get to class?"

Rosemary nodded, glad for the change of subject. "Yeah, I'm ready. Let's go. Now." She said, standing up and taking Alex's hand to lead him away.

Cal nodded a hello to the vampire girl, his posture stiff as he noticed her staring. He really needed to go get his eye patch.

Alex blinked and let her pull him away smiling at there joined hands.

Bell stood "come on Angel." she lead the way to class glancing back at Cal.

Rosemary relaxed a little when they were out of sight of the others, though with no frame of reference she couldn't tell if they were out of vampire scent range.

Cal blinked at their sudden departure, but accepted it. He finished his food quickly and then hurried back to his cabin to grab his eye patch. He felt better once it was on, and with that he headed to class.

Belle was sitting next to his empty chair staring at her books.

"I think she's enjoying becoming are friends. At least the teasing part." Alex snorted.

Cal made it to class in time, sliding into his chair with a sigh. He gave Belle a carefree smile.

Rosemary chuckled and nodded. "Well, it's better than how she was before." She said.

"I don't know. I kind of liked it when she ignored us." Alex shrugged. "But I guess this is a little better."

Belle smiled back ignoring the frown Angel was giving her. She didn't get why he interested her, she just knew that he did.
