Peggy considered for a moment. Oh she definitely had questions, that wasn't a problem.

"How come you're still here? This city, this plane of existence, this actual location. Any and all of the above." She grinned a bit.

Kurama quirked a bit of a grin.

"Ah, the difficult questions first, then," he said, just a little teasingly. "Well, to start, I did build something of a life here. I'm rather fond of it still, and I didn't want the effort to go to waste." He paused for a moment. "And, with the exception of Kuwabara, everyone else has remained here, as well, and he will likely be back soon enough. Why leave?"

"There were times you seemed pretty eager to," Peggy said with a little shrug. "Just curious. I mean, a lot can change in ten years, I know."

"I find my perspective on things has changed often, during my human life," Kurama said with a slight shrug. "I find there are compelling reasons to leave and stay in turns."

Peggy smiled a little. "Yes, I can understand that," she murmured.

"And what of yourself?" Kurama asked, curious now himself. "Do you have any plans, once Hiei returns with your friend?"

"Not really sure yet," Peggy said after a moment. "I mean, I guess we'll see where I'm at with training by then. And where she's at." She paused for a moment. "I'm not sure either of us has thought all that much about going back, either."

"Oh?" Kurama asked. Well, that was interesting. "I would have thought you would want to go home."

Peggy shrugged a little. "Well, I mean, home is nice and all," she said, glancing at him. "But this is much more interesting. And fun."

Kurama raised an eyebrow.

"I've heard Master Genkai's training called many things, but 'fun' was not among them," he commented, grinning just a bit.

Peggy grinned at that. "She's going easier on me," she said. "And it's fun looking back on it? In an odd kind of way." She paused. "Really, though, the most fun is when I'm talking with people, or out doing other things." There, that was vague enough while still including him in that.

"Other things?" Kurama asked, politely interested. He knew a hint when he heard one. "Anything in particular?"

Peggy shrugged. "Last time we went into town was fun." She shot him a quick albeit rather embarrassed smile. "Talking to people other than Genkai."

Kurama grinned a bit.

"Master Genkai is many things," he agreed, "but she is not one for much conversation." He looked at her for a moment. "If you'd like, there is a botanical garden on the other end of the city that I rather like visiting. I would be glad to take you."

"Really?" Peggy smiled, visibly brightening. "That sounds wonderful."

"Let me know when you'd like to go," Kurama offered. "I'm sure we can work out something between our two schedules."

Peggy grinned at that. "I think mine might be a bit more flexible than yours," she teased gently. "Since I just have Genkai to deal with."

"Yes, you're probably right," Kurama said with a bit of a smile. "Still, let me know and I'm sure I can work something out for you."

Peggy smiled. "I'll let you know," she agreed. "Sometime soon, maybe."

Kurama nodded.

"Of course," he said. He grinned a bit. "I'm thinking that some of the best flowers in the botanical gardens will bloom soon. They're certainly not something you want to miss."

"Well then, we'll have to go see them when they're in bloom," Peggy agreed, grinning. This sounded like fun, definitely.

"Then we will," Kurama said, nodding. He smiled a little. "I shouldn't take you away from your training for too much longer. I'd rather not annoy Master Genkai."

"Yeah, best not do that," Peggy agreed with a smile. "I'll see you again soon, then. And we'll pick a day to go."

"I'll see you in a few days, then?" Kurama asked, smiling a bit.

"A few days," Peggy agreed with a smile. "I'll see you then." Now she was excited for their upcoming trip.
