Lol, being blunt can be troublesome at times, but I think the trouble it causes is people poking fun at my bluntness.

@numerica outspoken is one way to put it. Which on a serious note is, I guess, related to how easy the internet makes it to try out ideas and personas without it being linked back to your RL.

@Amane I used to be the same way, but as I've gotten older I've found I'm more outspoken in RL. Basically my give a damn busted and I never bothered getting it fixed.

They all say that happens as you get older.

Yeah, I heard that too growing up, and it's true for a lot of the women in my family. I've one aunt who's still very meek; the rest of us are blunt as anything, but we'd give a stranger the shirt off our backs.

I've… become more self-conscious as I've gotten older.

I used to be very self-conscious and have low self-esteem regarding my appearance, but oddly spending time on fat-positive tumblrs helped with how I view my body. Now the only purely physical thing I don't like is how a lot of my weight ends up in my gut. Other than that, my issues with my body stem from these stupid knees deciding they want to start messing up after only thirty years (and other, less obvious health issues but w/e.)

My family line is cursed with health issues. -_-

Mine too. The knees is genetic, and then basically all the cancer and heart problems. And some mental stuff.

Right? Back in my young and wild days it meant I had all the blackmail photos, because I was the only one sober enough to use the camera.
