I usually just read one book at a time, unless I find a really good one after already starting one. But typically, I never read two books in the same genre at the same time.

My books are all over genre wise :) If it's a dense or tricky book such as dickens for example I tend to use a bit of paper as a book mark and write a sentence for what happened in each chap

That's a really good idea. Helps you to remember what was going on.

Yup it's really helpful on those books that can seem daunting such as the classics where u can lose track of what is being said :)

My husband needs to do that with the scientific books he reads.

Reminds me Easty after the event ends, we can set something up for the weight loss thread.

Love the Women of the Otherworld Series, very well done and the story lines make it hard to put down the books.

Oh, gosh. I prefer to just read for pleasure. I get enough knowledge books with school.

This September is the first year in 20 years i've not gone back in to education xD

I've been out of school now for going on 7 years. I definitely don't miss the stress that came with school and classes.

See i'm already missing education! Not my degree or my postgrad but my college course and my alevels definitely. I miss learning!
