The last cat an ex partner got kept waking me up at 4am every morning and i had pretty bad insomnia so it made me dislike them for a while, i'll get over it haha XD

I do remember having a chubby ginger cat when i was younger that liked to curl up on my lap though, so i guess it just depends on the cat/how they're brought up, same as doggies!

Not necessarily true of either of my cats. Batty will cuddle mainly when he feels like it, but lets me pick him up and cuddle/hug/snuggle him whenever I want and Shade demands to be picked up frequently and about 80% of the time is trying to lay on my lap or as close as I'll let him get if I'm busy.
