My godmother has always said that morning sickness is to remind you of the precious life you're carrying. So it's a blessing? Anyway I'm glad that everything else is going really well for you.
I'm doing pretty good, thanks.

Lol I could see that, it’s like the baby is going “hey! Don’t forget I’m in here!” Lol. My mom told me that the worse my morning sickness gets then the hairier the baby will be. At this rate the baby is gonna have a full head of hair like I had when I was born lol.
Thanks hummy! I’m glad things are going good for you too!

That it is lol. It’s funny I keep wondering what our baby is gonna look like. Both sides of our family have super strong genetics. With hubby, he, his brother, and his dad look so much alike it’s insane! Like you put different pics of them all together and it’s like watching a time line of what hubby and brother-in-law are gonna look like when they get older lol. Then you’ve got my side of the family where my dad looks soooo much like my uncles and me and two of my older sisters, there’s no denying the three of us are dads girls lol. And my sisters girls look so much like her that they could totally pass as my little sisters instead of my nieces lol.
Hubby and I got to talking one night and I mentioned what if the baby looked like him, but had my dark hair, hubby stopped what he was doing and told me they’d look like his dad lol. His dad had dark hair too, but both hubby and his brother wound up with their moms blonde hair lol.

I am sorry. Morning sickness does not sound pleasant but I hope it is worth it for the bundle of joy.

So far from what I’ve heard morning sickness means a healthy baby, so that’s good at least lol. It’s definitly not fun though. I’m just hoping it goes away when my second trimester starts lol. Pregnancy definitly isn’t how I thought it’d be though lol.

I felt mostly better (no morning sickness etc...) with most of my pregnancies after I was through that first trimester(the only one I didn't really was with the twins). (But no two pregnancies are the same.)

That’s good Livi! I hope that can be the same with me. Two more weeks and I’ll be starting my second trimester!

So how’s everyone doing today?

Apparently hubby and I needed a nap, once we got home from his work we split an order of fries from Dairy Queen then cuddled up on the couch together, then almost four hours later I wake up to realize it’s after eight and I still need to make dinner! Lol

Glad to hear you’re doing okay Livi!

Genetics are an interesting thing Kirin, but considering everything going on for ya, is that a good or bad interesting?

*sips his coffee* I can see what you mean Kirin. It is fascinating watching how they work, what genes are dominate and what ones are recessive. Like Silver's family for example. Her mother has dark hair and her dad is a blond. Both her and her brother have dark hair, though her brother was born blond and then it darkened up.

White people always amaze me with that. :o
Like, you could have two parents with blonde hair and they have a black haired baby... or the opposite! :O

It's so crazy!

The only "weird" thing that is different than me and my parents is that I was born with straight hair and my hair didn't become curly until I was about two or three.
My mom tells me that all babies are born with straight hair, but that's not true at all. Most black babies are born with curly hair. :O

Anyway, I was born with blue eyes too, but ALL babies are born with blue eyes.

No kidding! I’ve actually come up with a couple recipes that make it an actual meal. Like frying the noodles in their own broth and cooking a few veggies with it in the last couple minutes, then while that does it’s thing I cook up some chicken patties, chop them up, and add bbq sauce to them and add them to the noodles!

That’s like with my dads side of the family! So my grandmas Mexican and grandpa (he’s not dads biological dad btw) is white. Aunt Julie definitely looks Mexican, but she’s got blue eyes, then uncle Ralph looks like a white version of my dad! Lol

I didn’t know that! My cousins, at least in all the baby pics I’ve seen, all had super curly hair. It’s crazy how genetics change during the baby years! Lol

Worked with sisters who had red hair. Neither parent ever had red hair. But they had grandparents who had red hair.
