"Grandmother," Moana breathed, and she practically threw herself into Tala's arms.

Rose blinked when the two seemed to glow, and her keyblade vibrated and whipped up so it was pointing at the two. She could see the faint outline of a heart-lock.

"Oh Moana," Tala murmured, pulling Moana close. "I tried to keep this from you as long as I could. It's such a terrible burden for someone so young, to be the heart of the whole world."

Summer bit back a yelp as her keyblade jerked up on its own and pointed at the two as well. She was definitely not in control of it anymore. It pointed straight at the faint heart-lock, and a razor-thin beam of light shot into the center of the keyhole. She heard a faint 'click' as the world sealed itself.

Moana held her tight, relaxing a little. "You managed," she pointed out quietly.

Rose heard the faint click as well, and she relaxed. Something that she hadn't even realized was off felt better now, felt right. She glanced over at Summer to see if it was the same with her.

"I was older than you, when the time came it was my turn," Tala replied. She stroked Moana's hair gently. She sighed a bit when she felt the world lock. "And now you should have some time before it fully settles on your shoulders."

Summer relaxed a bit and nodded when Rose glanced at her. Everything felt safer now, more secure, and she dismissed her keyblade.

Moana nodded, though she was reluctant to step away from her grandmother.

Rose nodded and dismissed hers as well. Now the world was safe, they had to find a way off again.

"Go on," Tala murmured, letting her go. "I will always be with you."

Moana smiled rather tearfully but nodded, taking a few steps back before she took a deep breath and finally turned back to shore.

Tala waited until Moana was ready to go back, and in an instant the giant manta was back to peacefully circle the island again.

In the meantime, Summer was contemplating how to get off the world again.

"We need a mirror," she murmured to Rose. "And I doubt we're going to just find one here."

"I know." Rose made a face. "I don't suppose really still water would work either." She huffed a bit, putting her hands on her hips and looking around for inspiration.

In the distance, she could just see the blue box sitting there, and the metaphorical lightbulb went off.

"Summer. Summer the Doctor. The box, the Tardis."

Summer blinked.

"The box?" She looked out over the water and saw the blue box. "Wait a second, that's it, Rose you're a genius. We can get back to Radiant Garden that way."

Rose grinned. "Well, come on, let's go ask him," she said, heading for the blue box.

"Yeah," Summer said. She waved back to Moana and Maui on the shore, and then turned to follow Rose towards the Tardis.

The Doctor noticed when the world locked, and he was already working on getting the Tardis able to slip out of the world again. It was harder, with a locked world, but not impossible by any means. So he didn't immediately notice when the two keybearers made it back to his doorstep.

Rose knocked on the door and pushed it open a crack. "Doctor?" she called cautiously.

"Over here!" the Doctor called from the opposite side of the control column. He had one of the floor panels open and was half hanging down into it, fiddling with the wiring.

Rose headed over to him, inspected for a moment, and then grinned. "I really hope you're not having technical difficulties, because we were going to ask you for a ride."

"Not to worry," the Doctor replied, popping his head out to beam at her. "She'll be right as rain in a jiffy." He looked at her and Summer. "Taken care of business, then?"

Rose nodded. "Taken care of," she agreed. "Feels much better now." She stretched a bit. "Didn't even notice anything was off until it was right again."

The Doctor nodded as he closed the floor panel again.

"That's how it happens," he said. "Slow and subtle, and nobody realizes there's anything wrong until after it's fixed."

"Insidious," Rose agreed, looking around. "And total topic change, but I'm never going to get used to how awesome this is." She grinned.

The Doctor grinned.

"Yeah, the Tardis is something," he said. "Never get tired of her."

"I bet not." Rose grinned. "So, willing to give us a lift? Hopefully?"

"Of course," the Doctor said, nodding. "Where're you off to?" He glanced between her and Summer.

"Radiant Garden," Rose told him. "Ever been there?" Hopefully he had and would know how to get them there, because she didn't fancy trying to give him directions.

"Can't say that I have," the Doctor replied cheerfully. Which was true, in a way; he'd heard of Radiant Garden, certainly, but he'd never actually been there. "Not to worry, the Tardis can get us there. She's a bit psychic, gets in your head a bit, so you and Summer just have to think hard about where you want to be."

Rose's eyebrows shot up at that. "A bit psychic, huh?" She shook her head. "Sounds both useful and vaguely creepy? No offense."
