"I'm getting the feeling almost none of this is going to be what we expect," Rose said with a bit of a grin. "But it was fun, and we got everything done. Yay team."

Kairi smiled.

"Well, it's good that you took care of things," she said. She glanced at their still-wet hair. "If you like, I'm sure I have some good soap somewhere that will get the salt out quickly."

"Thanks, but we're planning on heading home briefly to shower and change clothes again," Rose said with a little smile.

Kairi smiled again.

"Sure," she said. "Offer's open if you change your mind later. Let us know when you get back, okay?"

"Definitely," Rose agreed with a grin. She looked at Summer. "Ready to head back home?"

"Definitely," Summer said, summoning her keyblade. "Let's go, I need a shower and clean clothes."

Rose snickered and motioned for her to do the honors. She figured they'd get plenty of practice at the world-hopping.

Summer grinned and pointed her keyblade at the mirror. The portal opened and she stepped through, stumbling out the other side into her bedroom.

Rose followed her, although she immediately headed for her bedroom.

"You can have shower first," she called. "I'm going to start on some food."

"I'll be quick," Summer promised, already grabbing her towel and heading for the bathroom. Her keyblade vanished as she threw the towel over her shoulder.

Rose snickered a bit but went to go scavenge in the kitchen to see what she could find that was still edible.

Summer enjoyed the hot water and the soap, and reluctantly scrubbed the salt off quickly and got out.

"Your turn," she called to Rose as she headed into her room. She flopped onto her bed with a groan, still in her towel.

Rose left the rice cooker to do its thing and took her turn in the shower, scrubbing herself thoroughly before finally getting out and going to change into actual, proper clothes.

"I hope the next place has proper plumbing," she grumbled a bit.

Summer finally came out of her room, dressed in proper clothes as well.

"I hear that," she said, sitting down at the kitchen table. "Tropical island is nice, but oh my god showers."

"Yes," Rose agreed emphatically, pulling her hair back behind her in a sloppy bun. "But look, food!"

"Yes, food!" Summer grinned. She stretched a bit. "Once we eat, I kind of want to go back and make sure they don't need us before we really settle in and relax. Sound good?"

"Sounds good." Rose paused. "Of course, there's probably some other world that needs help. But maybe it can wait a day or two? All this traveling is going to give me whiplash."

"That's why I want to check," Summer admitted. "To make sure anything going on can wait for a little while. I want to be lazy for a day or two."

"I get that." Rose nodded and checked the food to make sure it was done. "Alright, help yourself."

Summer nodded and did so, getting a plate and filling it.

A while later, once they'd eaten and relaxed a little, she went through the mirror again to Radiant Garden.

Rose went through with her, taking a quick glance around. All seemed normal, at least.

"Well, shall we go look?" she asked.

"Let's go," Summer said, nodding. She headed towards the room with the magic map. When they got to the room, she paused and groaned. One of the worlds on the map was flickering ominously.

"Looks like we're needed," Rose said with a little sigh. "Well, maybe this one will have proper showers, at least." She grinned a bit.

"Or at least not be in an ocean," Summer agreed, grinning. She leaned in a bit closer to the map. "I can't tell what kind of world it is."

"Neither can I." Rose frowned a bit. "I guess we should just go and see what happens." She summoned her keyblade and aimed it at the large mirror.
