Alana shook her head. "I'm fine, not a scratch on me. Stupid mugger decided he'd try his luck with getting my money. Even if Daredevil hadn't shown up I have my Stark not-a-taser."

"Still, I'm glad you're okay," Athena said. "But Daredevil showed up?"

"He did. Dropped down on the mugger and knocked him out." Alana made a face. "And then berated me for walking around by myself at night. Which, in retrospect, doing so in that dress was kind of a Bad Idea."

"And you were on me about taking a cab home," Athena said, stepping back once she was sure her sister was okay. "Maybe take your own advice next time." She paused. "Or don't, if you're looking to run into the Devil again."

"I don't think I'll be looking to run into him," Alana said after a moment. "I won't object if it happens, but I'm not looking for it. But, I finally won that bet I had with Clint."

"Which bet?" Athena asked as she headed back into her room to finish changing.

"Which of us would run into Daredevil first," Alana answered calmly. "He thought he would, and I bet I would because I live in his neighborhood."

Athena snorted.

"Yeah no, he should have known that was not a bet he could win," she said.

"He should have but this is Clint," Alana pointed out. "He's awesome and I love him but he's an idiot sometimes." She grinned.

Athena just rolled her eyes and came out of her room again, hair down and comfy sleep clothes on.

"Well at least tonight is over," she said with a sigh, stretching.

"Yes it is, and you don't have to worry about it anymore," Alana said with a bit of a grin. "I was going to make a cup of tea, if you want one?"

"God yes," Athena said, following her sister to the kitchen.

Alana snickered and put the kettle on, getting down mugs and getting out tea.

"Sleepy time, general relaxing, or other?"

"Sleepy time, I think," Athena said. "Unless you're making one of the others, I'll have whatever you do."

"I was thinking sleepy time too, it's late enough," Alana said with a little shrug. "I'll be running on like four hours tomorrow but that's what coffee is for."

"Yes indeed," Athena said, nodding in agreement. "I keep Deathwish coffee in the break room for overnight installations, it's a godsend."

"Yup." Alana poured the hot water into mugs with the tea and set one in front of Athena. "There you go."

"Excellent," Athena said, taking the mug. She inhaled the scent with a sigh and took a sip. After a while, she finally spoke up again. "So what was he like? The Devil of Hell's Kitchen, I mean."

Alana considered that, cradling her own mug. "Intent," she said after a moment. "He scolded me for walking home, seemed genuinely concerned. Or concerned enough, either way." She shrugged a bit, swirling her tea gently. "Hard to tell from such a short interaction and all the misdirection with the news, but he seems okay."

"That's something, I guess," Athena said. She grinned a bit. "Was he at least pretty?"

"From what I could tell? Yes." Alana grinned. "He was wearing a full bodysuit, so I couldn't see much. But he's got a great jawline."

"Oh that's nice," Athena said. "What about the mask, is it true that it has no eyes on it?"

"It has eyes, they're just red filmed," Alana said. "The whole outfit was red, and had little horns on it. Like, I shit you not, legit little horns."

Athena couldn't help but snicker.

"Gotta give him credit for staying on-theme," she said. "Red devil with horns? Sounds about right."

"Oh yes, it was quite on-theme," Alana agreed. "I get the feeling Tony would go to town on it, though, but it was a good look. Less skin than I'm used to seeing."
