"Say what you like," the Slytherin shrugged. With that, he moved on.

Sirius watched him go, and then turned to Olivia.

"Since when do you let someone like that walk?" he asked her.

"Since I know that Cat will make him pay in far worse ways than I would," Olive said with a shrug. "Don't worry, he'll regret mouthing off to us like that for a good long while yet." Her smile was pleased and just a little malicious.

Sirius blinked.

"You're devious," he said. "I like it."

"I'm so glad you approve." Olive grinned. "So, finish our butterbeers, walk around a bit more, see if anything strikes our fancy, and then head back? We've got an hour and a half or so, looks like."

"Sounds like a plan to me," Sirius agreed, nodding. He grinned. "Aside from the asshole Slytherin, I think this is turning out to be a great day."

"Agreed." Olivia grinned. "And that Slytherin will get his soon, which will also be fun."

"I may need to figure out how to bribe Cat to see the results," Sirius said. "I've heard rumors of her skill with curses." He grinned at Olivia. "Of course, I've heard of your skill too."

Olive snorted. "Cat does subtle," she told him. "She can do more intricate things and subtle things. I do things that require raw power." She grinned at him. "Keep an eye on that Slytherin over the next couple weeks and you'll get a very good demonstration of Cat's skills."

"I will definitely do that," Sirius said. He grinned. "My skills are with charms, mostly, so it's always good to come across someone who knows what they're doing."

"Charms go ok depending on the charm. Transfiguration goes okay most of the time. Potions I'm only decent at. DADA goes very well for me because a lot of those spells just require force, not subtlety." Olive grinned at him. "My wand does raw power really well."

"Mine's good with the finnicky details of charms work," Sirius said with a shrug. "James is good at transfiguration, and Remus is good at DADA. We've got a good spread between us."

"You do," Olive agreed. "That's always nice." She smiled a bit. "Occasionally my wand just refuses to do gentler spells. It's fun."

Sirius snorted.

"Mine made a levitation spell hit the ceiling of the Great Hall before," he said, grinning. "Recently."

Olivia snorted. "That was you?" she asked with a grin. "Some of my housemates were betting on who had done it."

"Is the pot any good?" Sirius asked, grinning. "I'd like to get in on it if it is."

Olivia snickered. "It's half-way decent, dunno if it's worth you getting in on it." She shrugged. "But if you do, you'll have to split the pot with me for telling you."

"We can do that," Sirius said, grinning. "Put a bet on it being me, and then I'll admit to it, and we can split the pot."

"Can't admit to it too fast," Olive pointed out. "Have to wait a bit after I place the bet." She grinned. "How much should I put on it being you?"

"As much as you think I'm worth," Sirius replied, waggling his eyebrows and giving her a charming grin.

Olive snorted at that, shaking her head. "You are an absolutely incorrigible charmer," she said, though she was a bit pink.

"Is it working?" Sirius asked, still grinning. "I don't hear you complaining."

Olivia sighed but smiled. "I don't know," she teased. "I suppose we'll just have to keep going out until I make up my mind."

"We can do that," Sirius said, nodding. "I'm good with that."

"I thought you might be." Olive smiled and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Come on, I want to walk around a bit more before we head back to the castle."

"Sure," Sirius said, grinning. He got up and offered her a hand up.
