People-ing is really hard. Though like Maria-Minamino said, just post! Youre more than likely to get a reply or a conversation going. If youre not keen on the conversation its no big deal~ You'll come out of your shell over time doing so :) Soon you'll be a proper regular!

I've been in that phase for 27 years haha.

I'm such an introvert...but can be extroverted at times...really I'm an ambient that leans towards more introverted tendencies.

But yeah...lol

i haven't made any friends here, either. i can post in threads all day long, but haven't actually had a conversation with anyone directly. :/

If you see something that you feel like you could respond to just pop in and say hi and start talking most everybody on here we'll talk with you you're always welcome to chat wherever we are we don't bite well HIM_ROCK: does, but only a little

Honestly i feel the same. But i find that I have more pleasant conversations with people online than i do in real life because I'm just super awkward.

I know the feeling. I never really figured out how to people. I just go with the flow some how. Unless the flow is bad, then I fake it till I make it. :3

Sorry, I can't tell you. Not cause it's a secret or anything. I've been here 10 years and I still don't know how to people.
Just talk to whoever wherever whenever and you'll fit in just fine.

And if people scare you... imagine we're all puppies or something.

Maria - Yeah... pure introvert here. I took a test on my personality type and full out flunked extrovert behavior. (0%)

i appreciate people's invitations to their hangouts; i just feel kinda uncomfortable going into them. it's like butting in on a conversation that's been going on between the same few people for a year. awkwaarrrd...

Not all threads are like that though. One of my threads has regulars, but the people who post there varies from time to time. Also... having fresh meat can add a new topic or point of view and it can help refresh the conversations.
The rest of them are dead because nobody new is willing to come post in them.

I still have that same problem XD so i mostly lurk.. There is lots of nice ppl here tho i guess just chat in forums and chats :)
