That sounds gluttonous, Amane. :o
I think you would feel so sick you wouldn't want to eat that much again.

I doubt it. Eating feels way too good.

I'd only never eat that many cookies again because lactose. One cookie makes my stomach a little bit uneasy, so I'd be sick in more ways than one after three.

It is a funny emoticon, but I can't ever see a time where it's appropriate to use in an actual post. xD

I think it's hilarious that Amane claims to not even like these cookies, yet she constant;y gets and eats them!! Hehehe.
Sounds like denial to me.

Man I had to pull an impromptu 9 hour work day today.... and I don't get paid anything extra for it, since i'm military. BAH!

WHAT! They didn't even give you any free food?!
If I have to work extra and I don't get paid I, at least, expect some food!

Amane and I are going to make some vegan cookies! You want some, Nightmare? :D

Nope, no free anything. I had to wait for the little kiosk to open downstairs from where I was working to open, so that I could get some water and a light breakfast.

I don't like the taste of most vegan food trying to pretend to be food i've already tried. I do like some vegan meals..... but vegan confections taste so nasty and bland. So no thank you. I'll stick to some lactaid icecream for my sweet tooth fix.

That's no fair at all. :c They could have, at least, given you some free food!

Aw. I'm sorry you feel that way. :( I love vegan treats! Most organic sugars are vegan, so I find that they can be really sweet. And even when using a sugar substitute like agave nectar (which is 2x sweeter than sugar!) it can be pretty sweet.
I made a vegan carrot cake once and brought it to a party for non-vegan people and everyone liked it. They were all shocked that it tasted so good and some didn't even want to try it at first when I told them that it was vegan. They were like, "ew". But then they tried it and liked it. :D

Yeah vegan is either too sweet, bland, or tastes nothing like it's normal counterpart.
I haven't had much that I like from the vegan menu.

Legit! When I'm eating it, I'm like, "Eh, this isn't so great. It's good, but I've had better." And then I think of the taste later, and I'm like, "… I know it's not that good, but it's good enough. I could totally go for another." Someone save me. I can't stop. *buries face in hands and weeps*

I like dairy-free chocolate and ice cream (the coconut milk variety; haven't tried any others) better than their dairy versions. Dairy-free dark chocolate popsicles are one of my favorite treats right now.

I once bought some rice milk, but I was such a weenie I couldn't get the guts to drink enough of it to taste it. I was so afraid of it tasting bad. I tried it with cereal and I tried dipping a cookie in it, and I couldn't taste it either way. I even tried it with chocolate. I didn't use enough. My food just got wet and it was unpleasant.

If I ever get the freedom to use it, my sweetener of choice shall be coconut sugar. If not that, brown sugar it is.

I prefer vanilla almond milk variants over coconut milk. Coconut milk is too sweet. Though I like almost all rice milk, so you should def give it a chance... it's just slightly sweet if you get the plain kind.
But I do prefer lactose free everything. However, as a girl who grew up in dairy country, I am a fan of milk, cheese, dairy products galore.... but my bodies def prefers that I have it all lactose free. Le sigh!!

As for sweeteners, I prefer honey or natural syrups like agave or maple... not high fructose fake stuff mind you....

I couldn't find it unsweetened. I found some unsweetened chocolate coconut milk ice cream, and that tasted fantab! It wasn't missing anything, so I wonder what it's like with the added sugar.
I stay away from any nutty stuff because I don't eat nut anything except peanut butter.

Father told me high fructose corn syrup should be avoided, so I feel wrong consuming it. I don't know what its evil is, but I don't need to have that explained to me. Tell me to stay away from it and I'll do it. /cautious person
I'm thinking the aftertaste I dislike in several candies is the corn syrup, which is apparently the key ingredient of candies. It's the ingredient the candies that do that to me have in common. Which is lame because I love candy.

High fructose corn syrup is just harder for our bodies to digest. Nothing super weird about it and fine in moderation.
I dun like the flavor of coconut... I like the smell though.

I would totally recommend giving vegan treats another chance! But maybe homemade ones instead of ones you buy packaged or in the stores. :D Vegan donuts are tasty!

Coconut milk is sweet. When I use any sort of milk other than dairy, I always use unsweetened original almond milk. It's delicious in cereal.

I don't like that high fructose corn syrup is in nearly everything! Unless you buy all organic things, the chances of there being high fructose corn syrup in something is very high. Like, wheat bread has high fructose corn syrup in it. :s Weird, but it's there!
I always buy organic things and I avoid corn syrup as much as I can. I usually use coconut sugar in my tea and in any Asian style foods I might make.
