Hey Nightmare.

I tried homemade vegan cookies, brownies, cake, muffins, donuts..... it just tastes so blech or too sweet.
I stick to natural flavorings usually with minimal sugar to be honest. I think it is the egg substitute that throws of the flavors the most for me.... I like my egg in my baked goods.

HFCS is alright in some stuff, but I avoid it as often as I can, usually because it's just too sweet for my liking.

As for coconut milk... I just don't lke eating coconut. At all.


How have you been lately Kirin? Sorry i'm distracted. Was cooking noodles, only to find a bunch of ants swimming in the water once I turned down the fire and the boil stopped. Ugh.... I am so fed up with these ants. The bait isn't working on them either. Now i'm just going to go to subway.

I don't like the aftertaste of high fructose corn syrup. :c It just leaves a funny taste in my mouth. :P

Some people just don't like coconut at all. I love coconut because I love Indian food and that has a load of coconut milk in it, so I got used to it right away having ate it a lot as a kid. c:

Ew! I hate it when bugs get in my food.

I like coconut, coconut milk, coconut milk ice cream... but I can't stand coconut oil. That just leaves a weird feeling on my tongue.

Coconut oils is one of those oils that I don't like using for cooking.

I use coconut oil in my hair, though.

My hair is oily enough with out adding extra oil to it.

I like Indian food, just not its sweeter stuff... partially due to the coconut, but not entirely.

Though I too will treat my hair to coconut oil every couple of months. Usually I just stick with jojoba oil though, as the smell isn't as pungent.

I don't put any oil in my hair.

My hair is down to my thighs... so it gets really dry at the tips.
A bit of jojoba oil once a week helps to mitigate that effect.

I do a coconut pack about once every 3-4 months.

I have an afro so my hair needs extra moisture all the time. I have to apply a leave in conditioner after washing, plus an oil, plus a gel and once that all dries (which takes hours) I add another oil.

I usually use avocado oil because where I come from it gets really cold and coconut oil solidifies at 30 degrees F. So I usually end up having to use avocado oil in my hair or jojoba oil. I tend to stick to avocado though. I like how fatty it is and I feel like it makes my hair so soft. <3

I guess if my ends got dry I would put something on them. I thought when you said you oil your hair you put it all over your hair Nightmare.

Nope I tend to stick to using oil on just my ends. My roots get plenty of love from my scalp.
Though the odd coconut mask is on ht last two foot of my hair and not just the last foot, like I do with the jojoba oil.

Omg!! Some of my favorite products are from the natural hair section of the store. Like this awesome leave in conditioner that I am utterly in love with! Smells great and leaves my dry hair feeling amazingly soft.

I have a friend stationed in Bahrain that sends me my oils.


Today is my fiance's birthday, so won't be on much today.

I feel like the last time I had steak was in 2012.
It wasn't even good. :s It was a steak from Applebee's.

The Applebee's cake is the only chocolate I've started eating that makes my stomach sick if I eat just half of it. Father has to take the other half. And the ice cream, of course. I don't like vanilla, though, so that's no loss.

I would think anyone would feel sick after eating HALF a cake. :o
Unless it's a little cake, you mean, Amane? I would feel sick if I ate half a sheet cake in one sitting, too.

It is a small, individual-sized cake. But it's so. Much. Chocolate.
