I think I asked if that was common. She said that it's something, I believe, that 2% of the population gets, so farely common. Then she just told me about the increased flexibility (probably why I can pop my back by twisting really easily) and more common back problems. I believe we got the x-ray due to my lower back problems, but it didn't appear to have suffered any prior trauma that wouuld cause it to hurt like it does. But the problem comes from a pinch I get mid-back, which may be from the extra vertebrae.

People that taunt the animals at the zoo drive me up the wall. Also, the folks that allow their children to just run the fuck around the zoo with no restraint, will admit that my husband has tripped unruly children a time or two when they started acting the fool to an extreme. Just because you are littler than me does not mean you can muscle in front of me to see something through a window, I was here first and you can just wait your turn, damn it.

There was a video I saw in one of those immersive zoos, where you can drive your car through and animals can come up to your vehicle. They were required to keep their doors locked and windows up, but the couple in the front seats were having an argument about who should drive. So the woman got out of the car and didn't see that a group of tigers was behind her :< and so they attacked her

Survival of the fittest now refers to the brain, not the muscles or ability to run away from stuff, but truly how effective their brain is at processing the correct choices for what they should and should not do. Climbing into the cage of a wild animal should rate high on the DO NOT FUCKING DO THAT list.

Tell me about it! I stop people all the time when I am walking around and have to ask them to stop doing things. "Please don't put your child on the barrier wall that goes into the exhibit" Do you want them to die?! Or people that scream at the animals. I about slapped a kid today. lol I was watching the monkeys and she comes up and starts screaming like the monkeys, but it wasn't some cute kid doing one little monkey noise. No, she went on at the top of her lungs for 2-5 minutes. I was about to pop a blood vessle.

People are so pushy! Ugh. Hella rude people out there. Everywhere, too.

That's plain stupidity right there. Rules are there for a reason, not as guidelines to be sometimes followed or adhered too. Not saying she deserved to die, but hey, you get out of your protective bubble you are inviting bad things to happen.

One of those special times where you hope that a monkey grabs a big ol' handful of his shit and flings it with no mercy at the screaming little brat. Sweet immediate justice is how I would view that. Or the lion that sprays a dumb ass kid through the fence, even though there are signs that say stay away because the lion will pee on you.

So sad that I have to work tomorrow and cannot peek on my phone except for maybe the first and last hour of it. Thankfully it won't be too long away.

People act the same way about putting their kids on ledges that go into exhibits. They're always like "Well, I'm just putting them here to see." Bitch, you take your eyes off that kid for a second and they're in there. I don't want my animals in jeoparady because your dumb ass is too lazy to hold your kid. And when your kid falls in and the animal has them, you'll be the one screaming "Someone save my baby!" but you'll never take the blame for your mistake.

Karma is a wonderful thing to witness. And its worse when people are doing stupid shit, and then they see you and immediately stop, because it proves they know that what they are doing is wrong but they were doing it anyway. I came up to my prairie dog exhibit today and a kid about 12 was sitting up on the ledge and leaning in (not leaning down, but looking far in), he saw me approaching and his eyes got huge and he leaped down from the wall and ran away to the whole other side of the exhibit and mingled in with his family. He's lucky, because I was about to make a scene and go over there and yell at him.

I also got a guy in trouble a few weeks back for spraying his water bottle at our hawk! I was so mad!
