Why huff random things in the first place? It doesn't seem to work.
Huff random things for a 20 second high, seems worth all those brain cells you kill.

Totally annoying when that happens. There is an ad for Smallville on the Batman Begins DVD and the song they play for the action scenes and only the chorus is good. We found that out when we tracked the song down and listened to it. Almost felt like we were lied to, if the chorus is good then the rest of the song should be too. Can we make a rule about that?

Do you find that the song you despise the most is the one that gets stuck in your head?

Wait, I can go one worse than that. The Dead Space 3 trailer has a cover of "In the Air tonight" by Phil Collins. It's incredible. The only version of it that exists is in the trailer, they never did the whole song.
My little one will be 5 next month, which is insane. D:
I wish we had more space stuff around us, it is pretty disappointing. When she is older I want to send her to space camp, if she is still into it. I plan to encourage it, but obviously wont push it.
do you know the song airplanes? I had a similar experience, where I really liked the part that she sings. But when I listened to the whole song, I found out that that is all she sings. The rest is rap. But I have listened to it enough times that I have come to like the whole song now after all.
I hate when you hear a song, LOVE IT, so you look up the artist, and hate every other song of theirs. D:
All the time! Or you buy the CD (before the days of downloading) because you like one song and that is the only good song on the whole fucking album. Those were the days.

Nope, it appears that there are several of us out there, suffering this fate. Finally we have found each other and can suffer together.

I live near a bunch of astronomy labs/a pretty famous telescope, so there's oftentimes some fun run-ins with cool science-y folks (one bar here lets scientists of all disciplines give 20min powerpoint presentations during happy hour once every three months, and it's a really exciting event!).
But yeah, essential oils. Queeneh, let's start huffing them and dealing them.
Yes! Huffable essential oils! Bound to be a niche market for that kind of thing.

You can do that all on your own. Take vanilla extract, put it in a muffin pan, heat your oven to like 200 degrees, put the muffin tin in and leave for like 15-20 minutes... bam! Your whole house will smell like the Pillsbury Doughboy's butthole.

wow I hope she likes it. We need more females in space and in science in general
Queenie - Yes, gotta kill all those brain cells. Who needs them anyways (sarcasm)
Yeah, it usually happens that way. Then I just have to spam some of my favorite songs over and over to try to get it to fade out.
after listening to it enough times, I began to appreciate what the rapper is talking about though. I like how nostalgic he is about how he used to rap for fun but now has to do it for a living

Who does that!? Like an ultimate betrayal of sorts right there.
Heard a version of Dolly Parton's Jolene from a show we watched and later on I find out it's not a remake, rather the deejay played the song at a slower speed instead of it's originally recorded speed. And I can't find that version anywhere but on YouTube.

Suona, avi creation is important, we'll be here to chat when you are done playing with yourself.

Time just zooms on by, craziness.
Nothing wrong with encouraging something you'd like your child to be interested in.

The chorus on that song is pretty good, the rest is eh.

Apparently someone who likes their own version. I'd be fine if I could just get the section, but it comes with all the sounds from the trailer too, so that ruins it.
Suona - Yes, I have twin girls myself. They are 8 right now and about to be in 3rd grade.
Salvete - That sounds familiar, but I can't recall it right now.

have you heard the version of "Jolene" sung by miley cyrus?

here, I am glad to share the link with you if you want to listen

-cheers on Salvete too- ^_^
Or you absolutely love a song and will listen to it for days, weeks or a month over and over and over again. Eventually it fades away from the forefront of your mind and like a year later you hear the song again randomly and you fall in love with it all over again. Like a long lost friend coming over for a visit.
Though man, let me tell you, Queenie, when you like just about every song from one artist/band, it is amazing.
I feel yah, Sal. I know we're getting there, but I really can't wait until it isn't amazing for a woman to have a job like that. It's just normal.
my sentiments exactly, precarious fool. I am also anticipating that time. Hope it is within our lifetimes

for me, it usually happens that I listen to the same song a zillion times and get a little tired of it after a while, especially if I know all the lyrics. But I will also love hearing it again a year later :D and will sing along
Just starting to realize that too. No kiddos for me though. We are working on that, practice makes perfect.

Not sure I have heard of that one... my husband probably has. He likes introducing me to new stuff, I'll ask him once he is done playing his video game.

Bummer. No way to filter out all the miscellaneous sound.
Trying to remember the name of the Deejay, the song was played in The Black List, during an episode titled, Jolene.

Not that I recall, but I will check it out for sure now.

Agreed. Sadly it seems like there are fewer and fewer artists that capture my attention in such a way. Kings of Leon come to mind as one of the last CDs I purchased that every song was gold on it.

I've gone whole weeks with listening to the same song. Drives my mother insane when my dad and I do that.
I am all about Twenty One Pilots, like even their early stuff I love, and their new stuff too. A few songs here and there I'm not a fan of, but I don't hate them.
