Yay for them! They can actually get really good gigs as park hosts if they are planning on living in it full time :) In exchange for just doing a little pick up and customer service with the campers they can live there and use all the amenities for free. I have a friend that works for umm I think KOA but she's also worked for state and national parks but she just transfers from park to park when she wants a change of scenery and she basically lives for free and on a permanent vacation!

It does have all the benefits of RV camping, just cuter lol and maybe a little less on gas. My boyfriend owns an rv so we live in both, the rv is like our main house for almost everything just because it has more space and we can entertain easier over there and let friends crash in the bedroom and then we sleep in the tiny house as the most hooked up master bedroom ever, but I normally still bath in my tiny house to because I have a horse trough bath tub and the rv just has this tiny crappy shower. I also make myself breakfast in bed of tea and toast or something with my little kitchen before I go out and face the world lol

I try to not let the mess get to TOO much I know what it's like to be a hoarder because I have things that seem like crap to everyone else but are still important to me (old stuffed animals for one lol) or ART I've never got rid of a single sketch or doodle XP and while I try to keep it all digital so it doesn't take up space I still have whole bookshelves filled with nothing but sketch books and folders of things drawn on loose papers and such. So I get it but I try to keep it in order he just like leaves whatever anywhere XD We try to compromise by having separate areas, like "your allowed to have a mess here I won't look over there lol but this is my space you stay out" XD so the tiny house is like a immaculate and the rv is like hit and miss, like the kitchen and bathroom I keep clean but don't go in his toy room or open any closets XD

It seems like locals never do any of their own cool stuff XD they are like "eh I've heard of it ... and it's always gonna be there just down the road so why go now? I have errands and dinner to cook" but when someone visits they have nothing to do but explore XD But I just get stir crazy not going out and seeing new things. With all the awesome things to do in the world I'm not really big on watching him play GTA for the hundredth weekend rather than like whale watching instead XD

Also a great way to have separate areas or even time away from each other all together xD It's like having separate beds but you get different walls too! I don't feel like I could live in a tiny house with anyone else because I'd feel too crowded and overwhelmed. Unless I just keep all my crafting stuff in the main house and sleep and stuff in the small one, or vice versa xD
And yeah I'd definitely take a tiny house bathroom over an RV bathroom xD

THIS is true xD Although my mom and I do a lot of stuff when we have the time. Well, we did before. And ESPECIALLY in Oregon. it's been too hot here the past few years to really enjoy anything. Our Oregon blood can't handle it xD

I'm kinda both. There are some days where I have the energy and the ambition to want to go out and do things, and then there's most days where I'm sick and just want to stay cozy and watch a movie or get on mene/other sites lol. Or sleep. I spend a lot of my time sleeping. Which can suck sometimes because I'll have that day where I want to be doing things but feel like crap.
ANYWHO I do what I can when I can and I enjoy things when I'm able to see them :3

Haha yeah I would have started the coloring way sooner had it been the only thing I was doing xD I've been coloring a LOT of adopts xD
I've only gotten 3 sketches done but I figured I could finish them after the event and the adopts were more fun to me xD

He wasn't supposed to live in the tiny house with me lol When he met me it was just me, living on Suavie's Island if you remember that place at all. Then after not to long ( kinda to soon for me, he has issues with boundaries sometimes lol) he asked if he could live there with me and I was like "HAHA oh seriously like where? there's no space for you" which I had done on purpose really. I had gotten out of a previously terrible relationship and I was really into being self-sustaining and totally independent and felt like having a space SO small would keep people from trying to take over my space XP But he was like "okay I'll move in with a friend" ( all guilt tripish and liek "you don't love me") but still spent like EVERY night at my place 'cuse it was "closer to work" even though it wasn't really XP THEN an RV in my park came up for sale and he bought it and was like "LOOK NOW THERE'S SPACE FOR ME" and just like moved all his stuff into my spot and I figured it was as good a compromise as any XD

Oh I LOOOOVE my bathtub for one its six feet (takes up most of the back of my house just has like a foot and a half on either side for shelves to hold my bath stuff) and it's SO deep I can submerses fully and stretch all the way out. I can't even do that in most regular house full size bathtubs. XD That's another thing I love about tiny houses, they are so custom, and they kinda have to be if your going to fit everything that's important to you. But that's how I have an amazing bathroom that's better than any apt XD plus my whole place is like an art studio with just a little kitchenette at the front and the bath in back, everything else is art surface or art storage, and the bed which can get covered in my art stuff as well in a daily biases XD
That's cuse I'm like that too I can have days where I don't want to leave my bed at all and other days where I'm like "I'm CLIMBING A MOUNTAIN" XD for me it's mostly summer/winter I hate being cold so I hibernate lol but in the summer I'm very active and outdoorsy.
But the weather is mostly mild out here which makes for a nice long exploring season :)
PLUS there is SO much to do here, the beach, the mountains, the desert, the valley so much variation, and all of them have incredible things to offer :)

how far is it?

I think I have some pictures I can pull up most of them are from diy projects XD It's FAR from finished, needs to be painted on the inside and a lot of pretty~ing up so far I'm much more concerned with function rather than form XP But once all the function is take care of I'll start making it all look nice when I get the funds :)

How could I forget Sauvie Island?! It has the pumpkin patch and corn maze! :D We'd go there in school all the time xD

DEFINITELY! I feel like that's partly why we're not as active as we used to be. There was ALWAYS something to do in Oregon. And it was usually pretty nice out to do so. Even when it was raining because you can't be Oregonian and own an umbrella xD (do you remember that commercial at all? For that one college, I don't remember which one. But they were graduating outside and it was raining and only one girl had an umbrella and they all glared at her and she realized and put it away and then they all cheered and clapped and carried on xD)
