mmm I love baking, I made apple crisp and marion berry/blueberry pie. I can never seem to get pumpkin to turn out right :)
I also make peppermint bark EVERY YEAR it's my favorite :) plus it's fun to smash things with a hammer :)

Thanks :) They are quite lovely but just wanted to make sure it was okay.

Due to my fear of the oven, my baking involves cutting up a roll or breaking apart one of those sheets of attached circles of cookie dough.

I also have A fear of the Oven. Started after I almost blew up Monkey and myself.

Oven is WAY better than the stove, most of the time the heat is behind a barrier and I only have to be really careful taking things out. Stoves can burn me at ANYTIME it seems like or when your frying stuff and it rockets grease at you, I do like induction cookers though cuse it's hard to burn yourself with those. Something about the heat coming from the magnetic field between the burner and the pot :)

Oh, the stove is a thousand times scarier. I'm still not using it.

Ovens are scarier than the stove, even gas stoves.

OH no I HATE propane/gas stoves. When I have to light them I'm always afraid of it poofing up onto my hand/ propane leaks are scary

Propane stove = hard pass
Gas stoves w/ a built in clicker = yaaaassss

I have a range, it's so much easier than using a gas stove and a lot less scary! :)

Dost thou know what we really have horror stories with? The toaster.

I do waffles in the microwave because I have to get assistance to use the toaster.

I think they're better in the toaster because they get crispy

My mother thought I liked them brown. I dislike when they're in so long they get brown parts.

I think I like them soft better, but if I wanted them crispy, it wouldn't be worth getting assistance with the toaster every time I wanted one.

They definitely have Belgium waffles in the UK.
