well i have been sewing since i was 8. and even still, some things dont turn out. it takes time and patience to make things work.

Ava isn't the best at sewing herself,
She doesn't know how to use her sewing machine, she just fussed with it until it does what she wants it to do XD

I'm still a novice when it comes to sewing, even though I have made several items.

yeah, that sounds about right. lol

i think its like any skill. it will always get better with time.

Hopefully I will get a new one this year.

Definitely hope for a new one!

I feel like I need a new one because the one I have is industrial and built to make things with leather and other sturdy, heavy duty things. That and it jams a lot if I don't use Coats and Clark thread. :s

Oh and I haven't forgotten to take a picture of the cloak I made for my mom.
I will go snap a picture of it right now!

Anyway, I made this for the Renaissance Festival for my mom, who didn't have much of a costume. :) It's no where near perfect, but I LOVED the material and I thought it turned out okay.
