Mine older sisters will see me get them, and I fear their reactions. They won't react like mother, nay; they have more tolerance and wider minds than she. But my family has a history of ruining my passions by taking too much of an interest and talking too much about them. Their talk maketh me grow annoyed.

Also, they tend to not keep secrets well. They'll tell everyone they know! Especially the vile sister who hath the disgusting filth-ridden creatures most refer to as "dogs."

Oh, they will not. I found out I'm a hot topic on the lips of my family when I am not around. I dislike it for I like to control the impression others gain of me.
