Well there are a lot of different kinds of mohawks, each a slightly different style. You may want to have a look HERE to find out RyRy!

Yeah, that's true. :x I'm not too fond of them, but if the statement tee is just THAT good or that awesome, then I'm willing to sacrifice. Again, it has to be a good enough phrase for me. xDD;;

I see~ =O Well, sometimes I like the loose/just-got-out-of-bed-and-threw-on-whatever look, so I don't mind if they're baggy sometimes. My brother is also a fan of statement tees, so sometimes I borrow a shirt or two from him, especially if they're already a tad too small for him. xDD;; But I have enough statement tees though; it's also because it's the "in" thing to make a shirt when you're promoting something like a party or whatever, so a lot of of statement tees come from those. XP

Since when were we talking about balancing your feet? o_o;;
I thought we were talking about the need for balance in life. LOLZ. 8DD;;

It's very annoying. :'< </3 But... *sigh* you gotta live with these people. =__=;; </3
This is true

Yeah, some are decent enough to be worth it. It depends on the kind of fabric sometimes. Like if its rougher fabric, then its not really worth it. But if its a decently soft kind of fabric, then its not too bad. Just big. Haha.

lol Sounds like you have a lot. I have very few. ><;; You should share some pics of them, for sure. :yes:

Haha. We were, but it made me think of actual balance. xP;;

Very much so. </3 Just have to try to think happy thoughts. lol I usually blast my music to ease the anger when driving.

Walmart is, often times, the best source for shirts and they come at such wonderful prices too. :lol:

I agree, Demo. I love it, usually. o 3o However, some of the cheaper clothes go bad relatively quickly.

Yeah that can be problematic at times, but it usually depends. Sometimes the fabric is much thinner than usual, so it wears and tears easier. It's always a bummer when a shirt fades or whatever, but it's not like they have you pay more than $10 for a decent tee. I'd really be pissed if I payed like $20~$30 on a shirt that got ruined. :P

I paid just a few bucks for some tanks there, and the string at the bottom is coming undone. I'm thinking to try to get some thread and sew it back in and see if that works, though. I rather like those tanks. Comfy and conveinent for home or working out.

Tank tops are what I need more of. I only have two of em. :gonk:
I, at least, need more of tank-undershirts.

I need more tank undeshirts, to layer.
I don't like my upper arms/shoulders, so I rarely leave them bare. :x

Rylynne, erm, not a proper one. And like Assassin said, there are many different types of mohawks. I used to have a fauxhawk, then shaved my sides letting the mohawk itself grow (which wasn't even a proper mohawk according to some, as I have dreadlocks in the back, so it was only on the top of my head). I don't think it's ever been much longer than in the picture I posted earlier, and never quite as long as Assassin's!
Plus, it's not a lot of maintenance really.. I have pretty thick hair so having a head full of it is way too much maintenance. Even when letting the mohawk just fall down, it's thin enough I don't have to comb it, and it looks fine like that too.

Yeah, where as my hair is the longest ive EVER had it, so ive got no idea what i need to do to take care of it and such lol! But i know that unless i tie it back, it looks like im a wild man of some sort. Once it gets shoulder length, hopefully around the end of next year, then the weight of it alone should hold it down ok i think.

ljosberinn, ive never had dreads myself, only an ex that had really bad ones, are they hard to maintain?

Hehe, shaving it off saves loads of money on hair products too!

Ugh, I hate it when people get dreads and think they don't need to take care of them at all. They tend to give dreads a bad name. They're not actually that high maintenance either.. you only need to wash them water, and maybe shampoo occasionally (I wash my hair every 10 days or so with a bit of shampoo), but it's not needed. No chemicals at all actually.. some people insist on putting wax and stuff in them, especially when making them, which makes them smell bad in the end and it's not very healthy.
Only thing you need to do is fix them up occasionally, which is pretty easy - mostly you need to rub the roots of them to mess up the roots too, which will obviously grow as normal hair. It's something you can do while watching TV or on the bus, and it's good to have something for your hands to do, especially if you're like me - if I don't have anything to do with my hands I start picking the skin off my lips. :/
But apart from that, you just fix them up a bit with a crochet hook every now and then, or just have a proper fix-up every few months. So compared to washing and combing (and possibly blow-drying and/or straightening) every day, it's not bad! And I personally think they look great, especially when they get long.. mine are pretty short (the longest are just below my shoulders) so despite my partner and my mum saying I should've shaved it all off, I'm going to keep growing the dreads till they reach my back at least. :B

Edit: Here's a picture of my shaved head. I look quite angry for some reason..

You look good with your head shaved! :O You don't necessarily look angry so much as a girl with spunk. :lol:

I think that it is a look not made for everyone, but that's just me. As for the dreads, I don't mind them, but I've always preferred them on Rastafarian dudes.

I don't feel comfortable with being called a girl, but thanks all the same. Although I love dreads in general, as long as they're well maintained, I don't really go that much for the whole Rastafarian look.. I actually love dreads that are not black.. (natural) red being a particular favourite. Then again, I have a seriously soft spot for red hair in general. >.>

Whatever you say, ljos. I'll try to keep that in mind.

I just prefer it on the Rastas because it seems more natural to me. I think that dreads on anyone else looks weird, but everyone has their preferences. :lol:

Oh that is super awesome, Jelly!
I just love clocks, or anything with clocks integrated into them, as well as keys. The pearl on your necklace is a nice touch as well. Is it also a locket by any chance?

I love Wal-Mart. It's awesome. I'm going to try finding that same shirt if I can. If not at Wal-Mart, then elsewhere.

I WANT YOUR NECKLACE, JELLY! :O So many pretty things in this thread!

No, it's not a locket because it's a proper pocket watch so no room for locketty bits because of cogs and things. It's the second watch that I've bought from this particular Etsy store xD Though in all honesty, I could have bought the bits for it seperately and made it up myself more cheaply. That's my intent next, I've bought some beads and various jewellery-making bits and bobs, and I'm gonna play :D

This is the other one that I bought.

I want her necklace too. :ninja:

Edit: Oh okay then. The first picture looked as if it could possibly open up as well and I thought it would be so awesome if it could be a pocket watch AND a locket. That second image is nice as well, but I like the engraved design on the one you've got in the first image. I really should just get little bits and put my own jewelery together, but demo is a lazybutts. :gonk:

*nods* the front of this one does open, but just so you can see the face clearly.

Key To My Heart Pocket Watch Necklace by CorbyLeeDesign on Etsy

Not letting myself buy any other "needless" things for a while. These two necklaces were my treat to myself for Christmas really. I just held off on buying the bronzey one because I felt guilty xD

Which Etsy store? :ninja: I need links NAO. D:

edit; Oh yay! Thank you!

I think they might look a bit more cute if they hung lower. I like long necklaces.

They come on a 24 inch chain, but I don't like them that long so the lady shortened it to 18 for me :)

I apologise in advance if I get you hooked on Etsy :ninja:

I see on some of the other necklaces, she gives you an option to choose the length (shorter or longer). Yay!

I've heard of Etsy before. But I never bothered to really browse it. I just signed up right now. Already favorited a few things! My bank account is going to start weeping very soon. I am getting so excited looking at all the cute stuff that I'm shouting at my monitor "Oh my gosh, that's so CUTE!!!!" *add to favorite* ...next! "AHHH! SO CUTE!" *favorites* :XD

Yeah, it's absolutely jam-packed with cute and lovely stuff. I'll give you a link to a lady who sells super cheap earrings. I've bought 12 pairs from her, one of which I'm wearing right now xD If you like her stuff, you shouldn't feel any guilt buying from her either, because most of her things really are rediculously cheap.
