I am trying to find a cute penguin knit or crochet hat on there. I really want one. I could easily make one myself. But I like the creative design that others put into making one.

I found something that I think I'll end up purchasing today. I'm trying to see though if I cannot find one similiar elsewhere for cheaper. Ya know, like eBay. But I haven't anything yet that is just as good. I really like the material (clay) that is used to make it.

Well ive been a busy monkey so far this morning! Im half way through an artwork ive been preparing for the last few weeks, just waiting for the paint to dry on the second part before its resprayed! Its my first attempt at stencil work and i think its doing ok so far!

Im thinking ill ask the tattooist across the road what he thinks of it when i go in to see him in a few weeks and then ill look at getting into air brushing maybe i think!

It takes me so long to draw and paint stuff. I do it only when I feel like it. It could be on some idle day and my inspiration will only last about five minutes. I close my tablet and I probably won't work on it some more for another month or so. I've been trying to finish this drawing for my grandmother for almost six months. I haven't got much done. Good thing it's a hobby and not a job. I'd be unemployed. :lol:

Lol im in the same boat. I tend to get towards the end when the painstaking detail work goes into it and because im not progressing as fast with picture as when i began doing drawing it up, i get frustrated with myself and end up leaving it for ages.

Ive also got a lot of things that ive drawn at work that id like to scan in and redraw properly on the computer, but i have a REALLY shitty graphics tablet so i dont like using it.

And yes, if i can, i get some pics up of the final piece.

Because it takes me so long to finish any peice of art, I do not actually display them or show them to anyone. So it's almost always a surprise when people learn that I actually can draw. And I'm wicked awesome at watercolors. It's like, "You drew this?" "YOU, JENNIFER, YOU DREW THIS?" "No way." ...way.

I don't really know how to use paint/art progams on the computer though. :gonk: Maybe some dumb stick figures and whatnot.

I get art kicks in bursts, then I'll draw like crazy. That lasts about four days at most, then I don't draw anything for a good two weeks. I wouldn't say I'm any good, but people like it enough to pay me for tattoo designs and things. My mum shows everyone at work and they call me up to ask for art. :P I'm supposed to be working on free sketches here on Mene too, but unfortunately by the time anyone asked about them I was out of my burst, so they'll be stuck waiting for a while. :gonk:

Right now I'm hoping for a tablet and photoshop for my birthday that's coming up. It would be so much easier since now I'm stuck with low quality sketches that I get onto the computer by taking pictures of them on my phone and emailing them to myself. :XD

I cannot run a shop on here for that reason. I think I had a shop, or a freebies thread. But I forgot about it. :XD

I asked for PS for my birthday that is coming up. I should have specified. Because my father already got me PS Essentials. Which isn't the one I wanted. :XD

I'll be asking my sister about which one to get, haha. She's the real artist with all the talent in the world. I'm clueless.

Yeah just the last month or two i thought about doing up a stencil design. Ive never been any good with colour work before, i always preferred black and white with pencils or pens, and im not much good with a brush either. But for some reason i think id do ok with spray art, so im giving stencil work a go using spray paint in cans.

Ive dabbled with Photoshop a little, though id hardly say im any good, and ive used another program similar to it for a while too and got a bit of skill with that, but still nothing id say was really amazing at all. Ive got some stuff up online, and i got second in the humorous section of the gift design contest for xmas on mene here! Also got an award for 'creepiest entry' when i first joined the site on halloween last year lol! thats about as far as my skills go though lol

Thanks Jov's! Im reasonably happy with how it turned out. Will be happier once ive done the propper piece instead of that test run and then got my tattooists impression of it!

Looks like its not stored in one of the more popular image storage locations (photobucket/imageshack/etc) so that may have something to do with it Jelly? Ive encountered problems of that nature before.
