Suona you have to be old enough to buy stuff like that yes, but we don't have ID cards like you do in the US. I don't know what kids use when they want to buy drink or cigarettes, probably student ID cards or something. You need to ask someone of that age really, cos I've got no clue xD

Huh. Was just curious. I dont know what other places use for what ID cards are used for here. Usually an ID card is just your drivers license, but there are actual ID cards. I have both. Got my ID card because I needed to have identification on me, and I hadn't gotten my drivers license yet. Both pictures turned out dreadful, though. lol

I always find ID cards and Drivers License, and yes, even worse Passport, pictures to be just terrible. Mine ALWAYS no matter what make it look like Im about to rob a bank...or go on a murdering spree as one of my Chef-instructors in College said when my ID fell out of my pocket after getting back from buying a lottery ticket. xD

All mine were pretty much taken on days when I wasn't aware I was going to be taking a picture, and looked like shit. So, my atm card was when I still had bangs, and that was just bad no matter what. And my ID card turned out like yellow. And my drivers license one I had no idea I was going to be taking a picture, because my dad just suddenly up and said I was going to be taking my permit test. So I threw on some clothes and half-brushed my hair. Yay for shitty pictures. -__-

I remember when I got my learners permit, I had been up the whole night before playing video games and drinking with friends(only 3 of us stayed up the whole night out of 8 people), and we decided it was time for me to take the test. Ended up passing, and looking like crap. Im glad that my new photo is somewhat more decent...but still ugly.

In all of my high school carnets, both my ID cards, my college carnet, and my passport hold pictures of me where I look like a "Most Wanted" serial killer who consumed PCP and Heroin on an everyday basis for the last decade. My friends say it's because usually the ones who take the picture are women, and apparently women have no mercy with their cameras.

*shakes head*

I look like some sort of hardened criminal thug in most of my pictures. I dont mind this, because when asked for ID, people look at that, then at me, and say either 'thanks' or nothing!

I did know a bloke at school though, whose drivers licence picture made him look like an astronaught! It was hilarious! Grey back ground in the picture, he was wearing a white hoodie that had a black edge and interior to the hood, so with it flicked back, looked like he was in a space suit lol!

My forklift licence has a pic of me with the red stripe through my hair in the middle and black down the sides. My rifle licence is the much smaller shaved mowhawk and a thick chain around my neck with a padlock. Funnily enough, when i went to get the licence made up, i walked into the place wearing a 'Murderdolls' shirt, with 'Necrophiliac creatures of evil' on the back! I probably should have thought about what to wear a little more actually lol! and my drivers licence isnt anything special either i dont think? the skinny mowhawk pulled back i think?

I think what really drives me nuts about my drivers license picture, is that the lady couldn't even be kind enough to tell me that my shirt was totally crooked in the picture, and I was smiling like an idiot. D: So I look like i'm "special" or something. >_>

We're not allowed to smile, or wear glasses(which is retarded since people who wear glasses all the time NEED them on to drive, so why take a pic with them off, right?) in the pictures. Its just plain stupid that we cant wear glasses. I understand the smiling part...but the glasses part blows my mind.

Havn't posted a pic in a while, so.....

The glasses part is rather understandable, because then you can see the persons face better. It'd probably be easier to be desguised as someone with glasses on, because it can hide a bit of the face. If the picture had glasses on, then they could not wear glasses and just say they look different without glasses on, or wear glasses and hope they look similar enough to the person. You know what I mean?

If someone wears glasses it seems exquisitely stupid for their ID to not show them in them, but who are we to guess at the reaons for nonsensical beaurocratic rules?

I just looked at my learners license...and it doesnt even say ANYWHERE that Im supposed to wear glasses on it. They should at least put that, so that if I do get pulled over, then they know "Oh, this person is supposed to be wearing glasses, lets see if he/she is wearing them!". But nope, the government never works in ways that make sense to the common folk.

I think that they are in fact supposed to say that you're supposed to wear glasses if you are. Which is why they make you do an eye test thing when you take your permit test. I kind of cheated on mine. :ninja:

I have a driving permit, but I need to look to see if I'm wearing my glasses--I know I can't pass the sight test, without them, so I think I was wearing them.

And, I am in fact wearing them. xD



xD Shitty quality picture, but it's actually a pretty good one, for an ID...I remember my mom stupidly wore a stripped shirt for her last ID before she died, so, she looks like an old school convict in her picture, hahahaha.

I totally understand! I hate wearing dresses without some kind of legging or stocking to cover my legs. I'm so white i blind people O_O And I don't like showing off my legs lol
