Yep, I was working with an underwater photographer. It is a lot of fun, but completely different than anything else I've ever done.

The underwater picture if very cool
That'd be fun to do, especially if there was really good lighting, like the ocean in hawaii.

Zombierella, I love your eye makeup. ^_^

Suona, yeah right now we are using an indoor pool because of the season. I plan on working with a tog that will actually get out in better waters. I might be in an outdoor pool, or in a near by beach, but Honestly...I'm scared of the sharks we have lol

Yeah, an outdoor pool could work very well, too.

So do you never swim in the ocean, then?
My dad has an extreme fear of sharks, too. He wont go any further than ankle deep in the ocean, and even that makes him uncomfortable.

we actually have a beach that allows you to walk a mile out and the water is never higher than your knees! I just know what water to not go into. Unfortunately the water I will go in won't be deep enough for underwater shots.

That doesn't mean we can't get some shots on the beach. I plan to work with an epic mermaid tail next time I do underwater ^^

Cute dog, btw.

@ Himiko - Oh wow. Thats rather interesting. So you guys have a shark problem there, then? You make it sound like they are seen often or are a problem.

This is true. And that sounds pretty neat.
I dont think i'd said it, but I love how the dress you had on in the other picture looked in the water. Very pretty.

Suona: I live on a peninsula and we live right on the ocean depending on what side you are on. Our biggest problem is jellyfish. There are 2 beaches that I have heard of Sharks, and I do not get in the water there. They are also the only beaches with deep enough water to do an underwater shoot. it isn't like every year we hear of sharks, but I'm not risking it. I'm like the size of a seal lol.

I go to out bleaches with calmer, and sometimes shallower water. Actually i have heard of people seeing whales while they are going across the bridge that connects us to VA. I have only seen dolphins, but that is still cool.

And thanks for the comment. I really loved that dress, and only bought it for that shoot XD I love working underwater, I just did a whole blog on it, and the tog that I worked with. He really needed some props for all the work he does.

Haha. Yeah, I think i'd be a bit worried, too. I get a little paranoid in the ocean for that same reason. I was snorkling in Hawaii, and we were in some really deep water, and I kept turning around and looking in all directions. I was so paranoid that a shark would come up to us. I mean, its not very often that they do actually attack, even. They're more likely to mistake a surfer for a seal than a random person swimming around. In fact, I believe that most attacks are from when people are just standing around in the water, or surfing.

Ooh. That is very cool. That'd be a very neat thing to see. It sounds like you live in a very beautiful area. ^^

You're quite welcome.
Well, it worked great for underwater. And it seemed like the underwater shoot would have been a lot of fun, plus it was very nice of you to give him some recognition and get his name out there a bit more.

it is only pretty in the spring and summer. And winter is the longest time for us! There is like nothing here, and when i say that I mean like we just got a walMart this year! We don't have a mall that is as close as these people have ever gotten. This is a shock for a city girl like myself lol.

in the summer the whole place is lush, green, hot as hell lol. We have a lot of really beautiful places, but it gets sooooooo boring after being here too long lol.

An underwater shoot is amazingly fun, but extremely difficult. Your breathing is key to everything, and also knowing when to not fight the water. Also there is no communication between you and the tog when underwater.

what about you? Do you do anything that is different? Or just something you love in general?

lol I live in a very small town (like only 2,000 people), so something like that doesn't seem very odd to me. xP;; We have to drive 30-45 minutes to get to any mall, and 15-20 minutes to get to the nearest Wal-Mart.

Its usually really pretty around here during Spring, but once summer comes around, a lot of the grasses dry out and turn yellow again. :/ Its unfortunate.

Yeah, I bet it would be difficult. lol And couldn't you do like hand signals or something? Btw, what does tog stand for?
I think the hardest part I would have with that, is that I have too much hair. xP;;

Hmm. Not really, I guess? I mainly am just doing work and school right now. @[email protected];; That takes up pretty much all my time.

We have a couple, but it is blurry underwater so making out most hand signals are impossible. I just know that when he Hold his hand up, it means come up, and when he hold up one finger its He's not ready yet.

We get dry spells like that where everything like dies, it does suck, but it is what is it. There is one model who has hair passed her butt and she does amazing work. I wish my hair would grow that long lol. And tog is short for photographer lol, it gets long to type or say when you are saying all the time so we shorten it.

What do you do for work?
