I have another wine to try at some point now though. :D Well, if I can remember the name at a later date.

Haha, indeed. So, the strawberry water is helping so much with the staying away from sodas thing. Thanks for the idea. :)

It is? Awesome!!
How did you make that? I'm intrigued to try these myself, but I worry about them tasting bland.

I have a water bottle infuser that looks kind of like this:

I just cut up strawberries into little bits and put it into the infuser and fill the bottle with water. I use more strawberries than the picture, and I cut them smaller though. Also, once in the infuser, I crush them a teeny bit with the straw so they release more juice. Also, let the bottle sit for 10 or so minutes before drinking and you'll get more flavor. I'm not using any sugar, because that would break the diet, but if you wanted to sugar the strawberries a teeny bit beforehand, they would produce more of a syrup and the water would be a bit sweeter.

Nice! So pleased it's working for you without sugar, too! I feel really proud that I've given you an idea that's really healthy.

Fantastic
Now what's this about being "allowed" strawberries? I've never understood why fruit is limited when people are trying to improve their diet/health. I mean I know all fruit has natural sugars, but it is natural sugars and it's not added. So it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. There's so much goodness in fruit, I'd never limit the amount that could be eaten.

Well, basically, the diet says fruit is allowed, but that you should be eating more vegetables than fruit. At the moment, I'm such a carb addict that if I let myself, I absolutely WILL just eat fruit.

So I dyed my hair a dark plum two days ago. I think it turned out great. :'3
The lighting make it look like a burgundy shade though, haha.

That's worked beautifully, Vanora! It looks to be a really flattering shade with your skin tone.
Mags, piles of fruit is streets ahead of bags of chips though, right?

True that. Ugh. I'm getting the diet stupids already. I forgot THREE different things that we really needed from the store. Eggs, frozen spinach, and banana chips.

Thank you. I've had really short hair for most of my life, and I've only started growing it out about a year ago. Here's an oldie from over a year ago:

Oh well, no grape-based wines for Cherry then!
You know homemade fruit (not grape) based wines are wonderful. It's just delicious fruit juice. You tend to not even be able to tell it's alcohol until you try and stand up.
Cerise, you're so lucky that short and long hair suits you so well! That's a great wig, what fun to be able to entirely change your appearance just but putting that on. :D

You do rock the short hair! I've always wanted to, but I don't have the face for it. And your wig is gorgeous. You get the best of both worlds! Lucky!
Jelly - I don't know, I've heard so many horror stories about strawberry wine. Though that's generally referring to $4 bottle shit, but... that's the only non-grape wine I've ever heard of.

I know thinkgeek has a kit where you could turn juice into a sort-of wine.
I bought one a few years ago; apple juice is pretty good when turned into booze -- kinda like hard cider. :d
