Aww surely something can make you smile :) take a picture with someone you like
I don't know. My sister just doesn't have much of a smile when anyone is looking at her. She tries, but I don't know what it is. I can't NOT smile when a camera comes out.
Am I allowed to post two...? I don't know...
I wanted to go with a non-selfie, but then again I just dyed my hair. /facepalm
I got this photo taken on a cruise last month.
It was prom theme night so we both dressed up in tuxedo shirts. xD
Everyone here looks gorgeous. >< I can't believe your faces.
Yeah, I got it bleached at a salon so I wouldn't accidentally burn my eyes out,
but dyed it at home because my salon never seems to dye it as bright as I like.
I like unnatural hair colors a lot, but I was never allowed to dye
my hair when I was younger. So far I've only gone purple and blue.
Congrats on being able to get it so bright. If you're going to go for unnatural shades, no point messing about with wishy-washy colours, get out there and dazzle people <8D
My hair's just brown. It's a fairly bright gingery shade at the moment but I'm dying it back to brown next week because the really obvious roots piss me off ><
I have a pic I took a few years back when we were having an emo contest in the staff room, that shows my normal brownness.
I wonder if Chi: remembers this ;D
Haha! An emo contest? I'm sure that was fun. XD
And yeah, dying your hair requires some pretty annoying upkeep sometimes.
I wish you could customize your hair like in video games,
just look in a mirror and poof! It grows four inches and is a completely different color in two seconds.
Haha, but if girls could do that...I mean let's face it, it's a hard enough job getting some away from in front of the mirror as it is.
And yeah, it's really hard to pout when you're trying equally hard not to laugh.
Haha, I love that pouty picture, though! And I totally understand.
My friend and I were trying to make a "tired bridesmaid" picture and we were having a hard time not laughing too:
My hair's just sort of a medium blonde with redness. Linking since I've already embedded this pic a few pages ago, so there's no point stretching out the page. I used to dye it really really red. More recently I've moved to more natural shades of red, but it's been years since I last dyed, so that's my natural color right there. I'd like to give it another dye sometime soon with some light red, just to make it a bit more vibrant (like my avatar). It looks nice in that photo, but in most lighting it looks pretty dull and bland.
I really love lavender hair, but I don't think I'd ever do that. For one, it'd get me in serious trouble at work, and two, I would only feel like having it some days. Most days I just want red.
Cherry, I'm a red lover too. I used to dye my hair red all the time. Although I preferred a more natural looking red. But it fades so fast that it needs a ton of upkeep.
Yeah, I have no patience for how quickly red goes out. Just breaks my heart every time.
Thanks! The curliness is a blessing and a curse. When it looks nice, it's fantastic. But once it gets messed up or frizzy... there's no making it look good until I shower again. And it's funky most days.
I want to dye all my teal buuuuuuuuuuut >-> mom says no.. and well damn LOL. Teal hair wig it is! gotta find right shade >:] or a long enough real human hair one and dye that.
Anyone like airbrush tattoos? ;3
like omg @[email protected] I wish perm tattos were done this way... definetely no pain and no f*** ups either~ LOL
._. it is my first airbrush tat and omg D: it tickled so bad and it felt so weird I just wanted to run away. I'll show it later when I'm not at school @[email protected] I got the wrong cord to transfer to computer.
Cherry, your natural hair colour's lovely! You need to master a few casual updo styles for the days when your hair's being a butthead.
Mags xD You did better than your friend for a natural looking pout in that pic xD It is tough though, isn't it. You look lovely in that pic though, even if you are pouting ><
Updo's are so hard with curly hair, though. My curls start just inches from the scalp, so that means if I try to tie it back, it's very messy. Tight ponytails don't work so well since it's curly all the way back. I can do a loose side pony tail, though (like over the shoulder, not that 80s hairstyle). I did that yesterday when the wind meant I couldn't walk across campus without my hair completely covering my face.
Also, now I've changed my avatar so my last post is no longer accurate... this is not the color I want to dye my hair.
Oh tight ponytails are nasty anyway, too school girl I think. I'd imagine a low side ponytail would look lovely, and you can wear a headband with it to pin down any sprays.
Have you tried this method?
This is mainly for heat free curls, but the method gives you a super cute vintage look in the process, so win/win! Once you had the technique down it would keep your hair perfectly tidy even on really windy day, too.
