Yeah. It is because they are slip resistant. They are good shoes. It is just they weren't the cheapest shoes I'v had to buy. LOL. At least they don't hurt. I think it is my head why the visor doesn't fit right. The worst part for me, I think, is the pants. haha. Anyway, it could be worse.

Pretty sure there's some law somewhere that states that no work uniform is allowed to fit properly or be flattering. In fact, I believe that employers can actually be fined, per garment, if any pair of pants doesn't make any employee's butt look like a sack of decomposing potatoes.

Plus they can kick their car in and try to get you to pay for the repairs so that they can go blow the money on something else instead... yeah... happened... guy thankfully didn't get away with it.

CosmicFoxKitty: I work at a store called Hot Topic.
jellysundae: OMG, I totally forgot about that!! Yesss! We're supposed to be in costume every weekend of October, so maybe I will!
It might get really hot working in it, though. X"D

Yessss, I like it. My coworkers are mostly so nice and accepting and awesome.
And I get to talk to the customers about lots of geeky things, too. ^__^
And the DISCOUNTS. Oh my gosh. I love the employee discounts.

I find it funny how much hot topic has changed. It used to be so dark... but now I can actually walk into it without getting weird looks

Yeah, it has changed a lot. I remember being nervous about asking my mom to buy something from there. xD
Now it's a lot of geeky video game stuff and pop culture. I kind of evolved the same way, so I'm not complaining.
I still love the stuff we sell. :3

The first time I walked into a Hot Topic, it was intimidating.
xDD
Now I don't get the weird stares from the hombres sitting across the way on the bench.
xDD
I still get stares, but not weird stares.
xD

Haha! I don't think I was ever intimidated, I always felt like I fit in
there better than say, Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister.
I was a dark kid, though. x'D

Yeah, they aren't cheap, but well worth it. Ill fitting visors and pants are the worst. Scrubs fit my butt like crap.

Those pics are awesome! I love retro-looking themes. XD
There was an old timer photo place on the boardwalk where I grew up,
and I liked dressing in the costumes there. c:
Heck, I like costumes in general.

Oh wow, I love that black and white shot, looks so perfect! Your fella looks nice and smart too! Did he trim his beard specially for the occasion? Did you get your hair done at a salon? It looks wonderful.

Thanks guys. The black and white one was from the pro photo guy they had. It was a pretty cool set up for the photos. Someone almost ran over the light at one point. XD The whole place was like WHOA!! XD
Yes he did. It suits him. We both did a lot of research for our hair/my makeup. I found the closest to "China Red" lips and nail polish I could. The hair looks more complicated than it actually was.
*I pulled it all over to one side.
*put it into a loose bun while leaving a bit extra out in front.
* strategic berets (two in front one in back plus the peacock pin thingy I made)
Boom updo with FAKE finger waves. XD

You did it yourself! I'm in awe! You should totally wear it like that more often! And what a perfect excuse you had for getting to buy some new cosmetics.
A well groomed beard on a guy looks a million times better that straggly old man follicles, I think. Because it really does put years on a guy when he lets a beard grow, and makes them look scruffy. He looks sharp in that pic.
