Lorana: Starting with 200-300 gold, you CAN get a lot from slots IF you keep trying, even when it seems like you're screwed.. Cuz you could spend 100 gold in slots, then earn 200 back >.<

It takes a while, but DOES pay off well IF you don't give up.

I had no luck on slots either, I tried it 25 times, got nothing.
