Superman Returns - 9/10

Yeah, ok, so I'm behind on seeing my movies! But I really enjoyed this. Enjoyed the overall plot and having Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther. I thought the guy they casted as Clark did an excellent job. It's almost like he really studied Christopher Reeve because he seemed very much the same as Christopher Reeve was. I think my only hangup was Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. She did a good job, but she just wasn't Lois to me, so it was hard seeing her as such.

I also felt sorry for Richard. Isn't that the guy who played Cyclops in X-Men too? Poor guy - he always seems to be the one who is dating the girl who really is in love with someone else. lol

Great effects in this movie, beautiful music - I want to check out the soundtrack now!

The Holiday
I give it a 7/10
I thought the story was cute and the characters blended well together.
It was a different take on the romance comedy.

Enough- 3 stars

I enjoyed this movie, mostly because it reminded me of a family predicament that occurred.

Last movie I saw in the theater was Pirates 3. I'm a complete sucker for the series and don't have any problems overlooking its many, many faults. So my personal rating of the film was 9/10. My more objective rating of the film is probably closer to 7/10 due to Elizabeth the Mary Sue of Pirates and many other things that bug me. (OMG CRABS!)

Last movie I saw at home was Marie Antoinette. The nicest rating I can give it is a 6/10 but I still watch it all the time. I like the costumes and the artistic style of the film but I think everything else about it is terrible.

Last movie I saw was Knocked Up. I'd give it an 8/10 for being very sweet and heartfelt, while having some good laugh out loud moments. It's a good date movie, because it has all the sweet mushy stuff some girls tend to enjoy and the humor and shenanigans guys enjoy.

the last movie I saw in the movie theater was Pirates 3. i'd give it a 9 It had a pretty good plot and all but it wasn't the best thing to hit this world since peanut butter >.<.

The last movie i saw in my residence was Faris beulers day off (sp?)
AWSOME MOVIE i'd give it a 10, for comedy, well devised plot and well timed, not to long or short. :)

I saw Oceans 13 the other day, and it was amazing. It was really funny, and the ending was the best I've ever seen.

Last movie in theaters was Knocked Up. I loved it, I would give it a 9/10. And then last night my brothers and I watched Lord of the Rings Return of the King, which would get an 8/10 from me. I liked Two Towers better, but Return of the King still did a really good job in ending the trilogy.

The last movie I saw was 'What Dreams May Come'.

It's about a guy who is happily married, and has 2 children.
One morning the children die in a car accident on their way to school,
and the guy and his wife are broken. But they just go on with their lives after
that, at least they think. Cause the guy also dies in a car accident in a tunnel
when he tries to help someone out of another car accident (he's a doctor).
So he goes to heaven, and sees alot of stuff there, and blablabla, meets people
who died before him, and also meets his children in another form (for example,
when he was in an airplane with his daughter, they saw an asian woman, and
the dad said that those woman are so beautiful. So the daugher's form in heaven
is a beautiful asian woman)
And later, his wife is so broken that she kills herself. But because of that she
goes to hell, now her husband wants to go to hell too, to get her out of there.

I must say that was a very good movie. I don't give it a rating cause I'm
not good at that.

I watched The 13th Warrior at my house the other night. I give it a 10/10.

It's a movie that's got Antonio Banderas as the main character, an Arab man who made the mistake of looking inappropriately at his lord's daughter and thus got himself assigned as an ambassador to the (mostly) frozen Northern lands, which were then ruled by Norsemen. He doesn't fit in well at first, but then their atheling, or whatever they call their ruler, gets a message from another ruler calling for help. So they organize a party of 13 warriors, and as their custom decrees, the 13th warrior cannot be a Norseman--he must be foreign. Thus, our man gets selected to go with them as a warrior, even though he's never really been one before.

Excellent movie. Not very new, but not old either (made in 1999), but still really good. This is one of those movies that doesn't need special effects to be effective (no pun intended X-D).

  • The last movie I saw was Surf's Up.
    I'd have to give it a 9/10.
It was a really laid back movie that carried the feeling onto the viewers at the end [at least I felt so] about a penguin learning to surf from a former champion who everyone believed to be dead except for the champ's niece. I won't give too much away, only say that it had a very good moral to it and that it was a supposedly very funny movie. The problem is that I've seen the trailer about half a dozen times so I'd already laughed at all the jokes on the trailer which were mostly the only jokes on the movie. I had the same problem with Shrek 3, where it seemed like the only funny things that were in the movie were already shown a million times in the trailer. Fortunately enough for Surf's Up, it had many other redeeming qualities and made me want to see it again, and buy when it comes out to DVD. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

It was interesting enough, but something lacked that i couldn't quite put my finger on....it was something just dont really know what, i also felt as though venom looked way wierd, well he is supposed to look wierd, but he just looked like a different type of wierd. he should have had a really long toungue like in the comics and should have goopified himself more, like in the comics

Hostel: Part 2

I suppose if you want gore, there's your latest movie, but it's not as great as the first one. Sure, I was glad to see some loose ends tied up, but I suppose what made the first one great was the mystery of it all. The fear that you don't know much about it yet it could be happening.

Now, this is from a girls perspective, if a guy saw it and was paying attention to a particular scene, it just MIGHT have been a little worse for you. Of course, I won't spoil anything, but yeah... ouch. xD

The last movie I saw was Mr. Brooks. I liked it a lot, it was very good, and the ending was great, a big shock after you think everything is finally over, and then it cools down again. I'd give it an 8/10. :D

The last movie I saw was Ice Age: The Meltdown - watched it last night on HBO. I'd give it a 7.5/10. It was enjoyable, had a sweet story, and my daughter absolutely dissolved into giggles when the minisloths started worshipping Cid (or Sid or however you spell it). I love Queen Latifah, so to hear her as one of the voices made me happy. And the musical score was beautiful! One I definitely need to check out.

I don't think I've ever seen the first Ice Age movie, though.

Last movie I watched was Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. I think the audience at the theater were rather annoying, they kept making stupid comments and clapping and stupid things. Shows how intelligent society is today... although, personally, I rate this movie a 6/10, it could've been better.

Pirates of the Carribean 3. <3

Is it just me, or is that series just going downhill each movie?
It was fantastic, but nothing compared to the first. And with so much packed into one movie, the adrenaline rush is overwhelming, it's hard to get amped when you're supposed to.

But still, a ship of Captain Jacks? Gotta love it xD
