I think it's very hard for a show like Heroes to keep up the hype that it gave off the first season. I was kind of disappointed with the second season because it was cut too short, and I didn't get the same kind of emotion I got from the first season.

Killing off some of the characters was fun though. I enjoyed guessing who would be next. I always knew Alejandro was going to die, even before Sylar said he was going to kill him. The only death that surprised me was Nikki's death : ( I love her character, but I think they'll work something in next season to bring her back? Who know's really.

not that I was a huge fan of nikki, but we could have watched her struggle w/ her psychological disorders for a bit longer. I thought her death was a little lame personally.

And I don't like so much that they've already showed they're willing to try tricks to keep characters alive. There's already been multiple instances where Claire's blood has been used to bring people back to life.

I think they were trying to bring so much reality into it, it got iffy with some people. Example Nikki, started off as this hulk woman and a strong protective mother.

S2 came, and she has been reduced to having some personality disorder, and honestly that is a bit of a turn off. There wasn't much transaction with the Sci-Fi/Reality Situations for S2.

People looked at Heroes as
"Average people, with Extraordinary Powers" not
"Average people having more than Average problems"


I doubt Nikki is dead, if she is...the people who write really need to know how to make better death scenes. Its funny, the points were they don't die but are near death come off a lot better.

There was never a hint that she had more than one person living within herself. If there was a hint, I would have been more lenient toward this "new" persona. And what is up with both of them being psychotic and living for personal gain? Is she going to have one that enjoys baking cookies and saving kittens?

On a different note. People are confused about Micah "talking" to the objects he touches, in order to get them to work. IMO I think he uses the word "tell/talk" because he is a child, and that is the best way he can describe how he does things.

Heroes is one of my most anticipated and loved shows. Falls in line right after Lost.
BUT.
Heroes is kind of annoying in the fact now anyone can just be revived with a shot of Claire's blood.

I mean, what the fuck? @[email protected] Okay, wow! Nathan got shot... *sticks a needle in him*

We've already proved Claire can revive a long while after death.

WHOA, someone gets pissed off and injects long dead people with her blood. ZOMBIES O_____O

If it ever gets to that point, it'll just be too silly.

I personally am getting tired of Sylar. It just gives the writers an excuse to kill people off. Same with Peter. There's no excuse for killing people off just because he has their power. Flying? Bye Nathan. Phasing? Bye DL. Super strength? Bye Nikki. Precognition? Bye Isaac. The multitude of deaths will sooner or later affect the shows standing. I have almost given up on Heroes. But I am hoping for the writers to see their past mistakes.

Not that we have any way of confirming this, but Im pretty sure Sylar has to assimilate specific brain tissues into his body in order for him to gain powers, hence his murders.

heroes has gotten pretty predictable but even then i love it.
i miss my weekly dose, like a crack addict. i can't wait for this next season to start.

i have seen it and i really love it,i reccomend it to all who haven't seen it.

That's how I feel exactly.

I adore Heroes... I still need to finish up watching the last season though >.<; I just read the summers so I would know what is going on in the second season... I really would like for the whole writer's strike to come to a happy conclusion so TV can go back to the way it was ....

I'm just so sad that it's gone until next season. If I could write the show to make it happen I would. They wouldn't even have to pay me that much. I swear I wouldn't nickel and dime them!

I really can't say to much, without giving it away since you haven't seen it, yet. But I have to say it is one, if not the best show on right now. It has human interest with a sci-fi twist. I would have to say, watch, give it a couple of episodes, before you judge it, because it has alot to get out at first. But its well worth it if you like show with a sci-fi feel. ^.^ I give it a 10+. I even bought the first season on DVD. XD

Long story short, I LOVE Heroes.
And I find Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia [sp?]) to be extremely attractive xD

omg I love this show!! My all time favourite character is Hiro. ^_^ his personality is way too cute!! This show is really great in the fact that it not only deals with the supernatural but with connection between the characters, I can't wait for season three. !! HIRO!

I feel guilty now.

My brother is totally addicted to this show, because I introduced it to him.

he's buying all the DVD for season 1 and season 2 already and totally rewatched it over and over again!

He even knows all the details and jumped to my room every time he's done for the day and then he will tell me everything! x_________x

I admit I like Nathan, but then again those who already watched season 2 knows very well what happened to him..TT___TT


I haven't watch it anymore though since I've been so busy lately, but I don't want to watch it from DVD and rather from the rerun aired at TV...so yeah, I'm curious to watch what my brother has been sadistly telling me all about with spoilers and everything... xPP

I'm glad that the industry finally reached an agreement with the writers. It took them WAY too long to do so. The writers certainly made their point, but it ended up doing some other damage besides what they intended.

I was really disappointed when I heard that Heroes isn't coming back until next fall. I think that that's a bad decision for the show - they could just delay a few more weeks in order to get back on their feet, and start airing episodes again. They've got millions of fans eager to see "Villains".

But, could be worse. Some good shows were completely canceled due to the writers strike, and may not come back at all.

As for the earlier discussion on if people would still watch the show if *insert name of character* died, I don't think that any character's death would deter me from the show. Sure, there are characters that I'd rather not see die, but I wouldn't quit if they died. Although I hope that they at least have worthwhile deaths.

I hope Nathan comes back *crosses fingers*

A LOT of shows got AX'd
some half way in their first season may not even make it.

even though Heroes has a following.
when it comes to money, things can still get rough.
and some watchers will drop a show that has not been on for a long time. so i hope they get something good to up the viewing again.

Anyone keeping up with the online graphic novels during the hiatus? There seems to be a huge variance in the art styles and story lines. Some are interesting, but occasionally some are duds.

I love heroes it is awesome! My husband just lost all interest in it and quit watching it last season he tired again but still said it was just too hard to follow. I do not think it is... I think he is just easily confused lol. I love the show I have to say it is one of my favorites.

I love the series! At first, i thought it'd be the usual, superhero-action series, like Smallville, where the plot later gets dull, but after watching it, it really was interesting!

I was like, "I want to have superpowers and help save the world!" :D
