Lmao. The first time I saw that movie I was so confused. I walked in halfway through it at my friends house and just sat there wondering what in the world she was watching.

But, I rewatched it later and actually liked it. xD

This movie was always a childhood favorite of mine. When my nephew was two or three, we watched it together. He'll be six in a few months, and he still loves it.

I plan on showing it to my child someday, too. It's just... great. That's the only word I have for it. Just great.

The Labyrinth... One of my all time favorite movies.

As a child David Bowie scared the crap out of me. I was addicted to it at about the age of ten, and back them I was afraid that he would come and take me away just like he did Sara. Until I was about 15 I stayed away from any cover of the movie, just because I didn't want to see him.

Then I went and bought it. I'm telling you, when you're older, he doesn't scare you anymore.

Has anyone read the original script? It's so messed up.

I love that movie. I now have it on DVD. I always found it amusing and cute so I took it round for my cousens to watch (4&6) and whilst the elder found it good fun little Isabel decieded David Bowie was far too scary for her and started crying! Poor Bowie! I love him in his tights and thundercats make up!

I'm now tempted to take legend round to show them Bowie isn't scary...Yeah me and 80's fantasy movies...

Lol, I've been obsessed with the movie Labyrinth for YEARS. I was born the same year it was made, which stinks cause I missed out on the memerobelia. But i do own a few things I got off of e-bay. :3

Oh, BTW, Labyrinth manga is REALLY BAD. I don't know if anyone here likes it...but my god. Its really rather shameful. The cover art is beautiful but the inside...well, Jareth would be ashaimed.

I saw the movie when I was REALLY young... Then I didn't see the movie again until I was about 13. I didn't know the name of the movie until 2005 when I was 17 going onto 18. David Bowie when he stared in that movie plagued my dreams for years! I nearly died when I found out about the movie and got the movie on dvd about a couple of months later. But I keep thinking that they changed a scene in the movie... Either that or I'm just hallucinating, lol. xD

I love that movie, especially the costumes! Not that the plot isn't good, but I would watch it without sound just to see the costumes.

No matter what you all say, the winner is THE WORM.
'No, I said 'allo, but that's close enough.'
'If she'da gone THAT way, she'da gone straight to that castle!'

<3
The Bulge [aka Bowie's, erm, package] comes in a close second.
Yay for Captain TightPants and his Magical Glass [crystal] Balls!

His tights in that movie frighten me... XD I really have no interest. But I love the movie. Oh GAAAWD, it's definitely one of my favorites.

And of course, the synth in Magic Dance just made that movie ETERNALLY AWESOME.

Possibly the best movie ever created. I don't know why, but I love the Goblin King Jareth.

And I seriously want one of the crystal ball things!

Quite.

"Come inside, meet the Missus."
"Come inside, have a nice cup of tea."

The worm MAKES the movie awesome. <3
And Ludo. Ludo gets much love.

Bowie was perfect as Jareth. And of course, one of my favorite artists (Brian Froud) worked on the movie.
The little worm was too cute!
I got a little irritated at Sarah toward the end. Break the Goblin King's heart, why don't you. >.<

I love that movie! My mom, sister and I used to watch it a lot when we were kids. I never really got it, and just watched it, but it was so amazing. Sadly, our VCR ate it, and it's been in there for almost a year -tear tear- My mom went out and bought the DVD about a month after it got stuck in the VCR. We don't watch it as much now, but I kind of want to go watch it now -laughs-.
